Coffee is of a great quality, I really like their lattes
Superb coffee and great staff.
Amazing coffee
I had a mellow coffee while reading a book, and could feel the sun beaming down on me while sitting by the front door.
Nice little coffee shop in a pretty busy area. We went in for a bit of lunch and found the options were more limited than it seemed from pictures. Mocha and iced chai tea were both good and we enjoyed the chicken empanada, chocolate tart and banana bread. Always appreciate self serve water and music at a good volume. Would recommend for a drink and treat.
The coffee and staff at Coffee Tree Roastery are outstanding.
My company and I ordered a cappuccino, an iced mocha, a spinach & mushroom empanada and a beef empanada.
The coffee was not acidic in the slightest bit and was extremely delicious. Just for the coffee, you should pay this shop a visit. The employees were also all very polite and attentive.
My only feedback for improvement would be the empanadas. They were good, but they weren’t great. Although the pastry was delicious, the filling lacked flavour. The salsa was a great addition on the side!
I have come to this Bloor West Roastery for many years. I believe the project is admirable to have the beans roasted and served promptly and in a calm, sophisticated space. The aroma of the beans roasting is a sufficient reason in itself to come to this coffee shop.
However, as an individual who enjoys a darker, richer, bolder cup of coffee, I find the roasts here consistently underwhelming. The espresso drinks lack a depth and become overwhelmed by any addition of foam or steamed milk.
As I believe a coffee shop should be a place where people meet and chat, this is an excellent location for that. Ay the times I have attended I have found it a quiet, warm welcoming atmosphere and would certainly meet someone for a coffee there just for that advantage.
Atmosphere is good and great location.
15 yrs ago, this was an amazing place to get beautiful rich coffee. Not anymore. I have been here atleast half dozen times and the coffee is really watered down. I miss Susan the original owner. She ran an excellent coffee shop.
Impeccably clean!! The staff are fantastic and always on the go - cooking, making espresso drinks, serving, cleaning, even bringing orders to your table sometimes!
I recommend the empanadas! Coffee is great too.

Very helpful friendly staff, I know nothing about coffee and they helped me pick the perfect gift out
Still like this place. Dont live in Toronto now so here for the first time in a couple of years.
Good coffee, with very decent sandwiches and scones and such. Some things a little bit different from the average coffee shop. Been going here for years, whenever I am in the area.

Hidden amongst all the little shops dotted around this area of Bloor St. W. is a little cafe that serves some of the best coffee in town.
Here we find a roastery in operation since 1988, that means your cup of joe isn't of the same quality as you'd find at one of those tired commercial coffee shops.
As a neighborhood joint, it's packed with the elderly during midday, adding to its homely atmosphere.
At $7.98 for a vanilla latte and with 14+ different freshly roasted coffee beans to choose from, Coffee Tree Roastery is a must try.
