I visited Comma because I found an entire vegan menu on their website that was still up. Unfortunately upon arriving, I was informed by the waitstaff that they no longer have any vegan options beyond two tteokbokki dishes (classic version $13+$5 vegan upcharge, or rose version for $23+$11 vegan upcharge). The waiter also informed me that there were no options to have any other dishes modified and no accommodations, unfortunately. I ended up ordering the classic version, which was a small bowl of tteokbokki, and while tasty, it left me hungry and quite disappointed. I would not recommend dining here unless you are in the mood to pay $18 for a snack portion size of food. I informed the waiter about the vegan menu posted online, and others have also gone to Comma specifically for this and have been disappointed. Apparently, they are working to get it taken down, so hopefully no one else experiences this!
Dark, chill ambiance which was great. Food was good, but small portions for the price. The soy marinated raw crab and tteokbokki were the best, but make sure to order a serving of rice ($2.99) for the crabs because it’s quite salty, and the tteokbokki ($12) only lined the bottom of the small serving bowl. It should definitely be a larger portion for that price, like other places do.
Pictured: tteokbokki, soy marinated raw crab, soy marinated raw shrimp (slightly sweet, less salty than the crabs), mini fried bossam with yuzu salad (salad tasted tangy and refreshing).
Total after tax, before tips: $103.94
Great addition to Queen Street. The dishes are great and have a nice balance between traditional and modern. Surprisingly good value for what you are served.
I loved the atmosphere, service and food!! Very nice, clean and friendly.

Food was awesome, service beyond great. Server came and helped me with the raw marinated crab since I was struggling to de-shell it.
Everything was delicious. Highly recommend the Jjampong stew, seafood pancake, and soy marinated crab.

Food was good really enjoyed the soy marinated crab and the kimichi poutine, but was rushed out of the restaurant after 45 minutes even though the reservation was for 90 minutes. Most likely double booked their reservations but did not enjoy the service.

Love the environment, playing all the top songs at the moment which gave it a really good vibe. The food was really good and shareable as there was a group was 5 of us. The spicy crab was really good, although I do enjoy it with rice and seaweed better but the sauce was still good. The best dish was the fried bossam and udon woww!! The prices were more on the expensive side but since it felt like a fancier Korean restaurant it’s ok.

Very good Korean restaurant. The service was great and their plating was beautiful. I really recommend their seafood udon, their sauce is very creamy with a strong truffle flavor. Their seafood pancake was also delicious, crispy with lots of seafood. Their pork appetizer is for people who love garlic, the sauce is sweet and salty. Overall, a great place for dinner!

Once rated as a vegan ? friendly restaurant, it’s now offering only 2 dishes that might be modified and charge extra for making it vegan. I got the tteok-bokki rosé in vegan. There was no Brokkoli in it and they substituted the fish cakes with rice noodles charging extra for the modification. It tasted good and was very rich and creamy. I’m glad I also had a side of tofu and kimchi. It was very pricey for what it was. It was a cozy place to dine it and have drinks. ? Updated from previous review on 2024-11-03
