Meeting was of members belonging to a service organization (Lions International) who after enjoying their visit will consider using the Consort Bar as a regular monthly meeting location if it can be arranged.

The restaurant was cold. Not enough heating. But service and food were great. It was quiet and private

I hate to rave about the Consort Bar for fear that it will become too popular and the next time we want to enjoy a meal there, it will be too crowded or too expensive for us. Our brunch there last Sunday was very enjoyable. The ambience was even better than we were hoping-- quiet, beautiful, comfortable seating. We prize places where it is not too noisy to carry on a conversation. We were both very pleased with our menu choices-- I loved my quiche with the nice salad. My husband was in heaven with his chocolate chip banana pancakes. And we both had enough left over to take home for the next morning. Our server Eva was very good. And the prices were not out of line for the quality and the location. What more could you ask?

Second time here for brunch, food is pretty good overall. What I like more about this place is the perfect service and the super quiet ambiance. Ideal for slow mornings when you don't want to queue to the brunch hit spots of the city. Consort Bar is a great, low key option with decent food.

What an incredible experience! Such a friendly vibed hotel, so very welcoming and the staffing is just tremendous! Thank you, with love from the Jones’ ladies at Isle of Man,

Fantastic Bar Experience

Absolutely amazing drinks, paired with really delicious food and desserts. Everything we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. What made the evening even more special was the wonderful service — we were taken care of so kindly by Valentina, who was attentive, warm, and made us feel truly welcome.

It’s rare to find a bar that combines great atmosphere, outstanding cocktails, and such genuine hospitality. We left with smiles on our faces and will definitely return on our next visit. Highly recommended!

You’re paying a premium for subpar cocktails. The food may be good (my rating for food reflects cocktails) but we didn’t order any on our visit. The cocktails were poorly crafted, with most juice and minimal alcohol (the supposed 3 oz special summer menu drinks were bland at best with dashes of bitters and juice). Would not return for cocktails as there are infinite better choices in downtown Toronto, unfortunately for us we chose consort. Won’t make that mistake again.

We had the best evening. Dora was our bartender, and was so informative on the area. We will come back to this bar next time we visit!

The place is cosy and calm (I would prefer it without the TV screens, but at least those were muted). The barwoman was nice. We had 2 cocktails and the parmesan fries. The Spiced Old Fashioned was good, but the Martini wasn't (it was one of the worst Martinis I ever tried). The fries recipe was good, with the parmesan and the truffle mayonnaise, but the fries themselves were very disappointing.

First time visiting, wasn’t staying at the hotel, but the menu looked so good and reasonable we stopped in. The food was outstanding, Presentation was spot on. Loved the Korean short ribs with Kimchi! The wild mushroom pasta was delicious and the salmon that was paired with the Cesar salad was tender and flavorful!

Came here for a quick drink while in the area and ordered an Old Fashioned. It was one of the smoothest Old Fashioned I have ever tried. Service was quick and kind. It wasn't super busy when during my visit (Sunday late afternoon). Interior was beautiful and had a jazzy atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Service was lacklustre, everything took far too long and given we had 2 kids and asked that they rush things as best they can, we ended up waiting for the most basic of items. They may have been understaffed, no excuse for a landmark Toronto hotel, I'm afraid.

Nice cocktail lounge with a great vibe. The service was excellent. The cocktails were strong and flavorful. We really enjoyed the ambience. It's a nice quiet spot to enjoy a cocktail and have a chat. I would highly recommend this lounge. Great sophisticated vibe.

Bartender, unfortunately, does not know how to make a proper martini. Little disappointing going to a bar with this much credibility. Hoping they take the feedback, and in the future, they improve upon what their current drink stature is. You’re better off going somewhere else.
