CopaCabana Brazilian Steakhouse - Uptown

Went on a Sunday for a celebration with high expectations. The food was extremely salty to the point that we had suspected that it was either to deter us from eating a lot (given the AYCE venue), drive us to drink more or to mask the quality of the meats.

Service was also slow when we asked several times (10+) for pineapple and shrimp. In the beginning, we were seated but ignored as we were waiting for 1 more person. When the last person arrived, we still waited a while before being served. There were many cuts of beef as well as chicken and salmon but all were heavily seasoned. Some at our table would eat a lot but with the amount of salt, they decided not to eat more as they lots their appetite and also for health reasons.

Many tables were celebrating birthdays since they give a free meal for those who dine on their birthday. However, I would recommend that there are other places to celebrate instead and not worth getting a free meal.

Best Brazilian steakhouse in Toronto for sure! The service was amazing, they bring out all the meat quick and don’t skip tables. The quality of the meats were also excellent and the Mac and cheese is to die for!

I liked that it wasn't too loud and I could hear my date easily. The steak was just ok quality wise, the salmon was not great. The brussels sprouts were delicious as were the various sauces. At first, service was good and then later on it took forever to get the waitress to come back. I asked for a birthday candle and they brought a sparkler out which was great. The drinks were good and all you can drink on Wednesday.

The atmosphere was really nice & both my date & I loved the decor of the restaurant.

The food was absolutely amazing & I would've loved to have enjoyed the full 90 minute all you can eat that we'd paid for.

However my date is a light eater & he ordered a dessert fairly soon into the meal. After which they stopped serving me the all you can eat even though there was still around 45 min left for the meal.

Even before they took my plate away, as soon as he got dessert, the waiter stopped bringing me meat. We had intended to stay for the whole 90 minutes and he was just going to get a cocktail or two. But there was no point in staying after the waiter stopped serving me. The staff was all friendly, including the waiter, so it was a surprise. I'd only tried a slice or two of most of the meats (I don't even think I got to try everything?)

I was still starving when I left and & made a bowl of ramen when I got home

I visited this restaurant on September 26, 2025, and unfortunately my experience with the host (the blonde gentleman at the front) was very disappointing. I had a reservation at 10:00 PM and arrived about 30 minutes late, but that was not the issue.

The real problem was that the restaurant has two different menus — the Copa Cabana menu and a Latino menu. I specifically came all the way from Toronto for the Copa Cabana menu, but the host refused to let me order from it. Instead, he wanted to force me on the Latino menu He was rude, dismissive, did not greet me, and overall made me feel very unwelcome.

When I asked if there was any possible solution, the host responded rudely and seemed completely uninterested in helping. In the end, I was so disappointed that I had to cancel my entire evening and leave.

I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, because good hospitality starts at the door. First impressions matter, and this was not the experience I expected

Not as good as it used to. No more lamb, and other meat they serve before. The sides are still very good though. Overall, the price is not worth it unlike before.

Amazing experience. We had to move our reservation to a later time and they were super accommodating. When we arrived there was no wait for our table and we had all of our sides in a matter of 10 minutes. The server was lovely and knowledgeable. Suryai was amazing too and such a vibe! The guys serving the meat selection were very friendly and patient with us (it was our first time). The food was to die for, especially the sliced pineapple. The highlight was the GM Gary! He was accommodating with music and super fun to talk to. Will def be recommending this place to everyone, you get great value for what you pay.

Best Tuesday night ever! Couldn't stop eating the cheddar infused sirloin. Another level of taste

I really like this restaurant. My favorites are the steaks with cheese. We went on a Thursday and had a really good time. I believe is one is the best Rodicio in Toronto. I will for sure come back many times.

Food was good, however they make you order on your phone and can only order dishes of 4 at a time and they are tiny. They also took forever to come out... id order two things to pair together and one would come out and the next thing 15 mins later. We had to constantly go out of our way to look for our server and to remind the server that we had ordered things or that we were still waiting for our drinks. For $140 a person I really expected better service. We also received other peoples orders a lot ...

The food was decent , the meats were very salty and the side dishes were small portions ( we had a table of 5 and you are limited to ordering 4 dishes at a time. ). The wait staff were friendly but the service was extremely slow. We often waited 15-20 minutes between the meat guys showing up. One of the waiters Vini took notice of this and made a point of looking after us , that made our experience much better.

The service was absolutely awful. Our server was inattentive, slow, and not friendly at all. There was very little variety in the meats going around and the quality of food was just okay. This place used to be good but isn't anymore- very disappointing. They also add an automatic 18% gratuity, which would have been fine if the service was good. Utterly disappointed in this experience and this location.
