The choices of food are rather different than other Thai restaurants we went to. The Panang Curry is delicious with lots of chicken in it! Others are as expected but not super remarkable. This is owned by the same owner of Som Tum downstairs next door.
The big red sign with the Michelin star on the door set high expectations from the moment we arrived. However, the experience didn’t quite match up. While I’m not an expert in Thai cuisine, the dishes didn’t give off that Michelin-level impression I was hoping for. The kitchen stove and grill were placed so close to the dining area that the strong smells made us feel like we had to rush out to avoid the lingering scent. The service, on the other hand, was friendly and attentive....

And that’s a great thing!! It is incredible authentic Thai food in a nicer environment. The food is great, would recommend the papaya salad and pork cheek, the panang curry is sweet and delicious but may be heavy for some.
