This place is the best!!! The owners / workers are the nicest people you will meet and the service is amazing. The food is kickass and the drinks are affordable. It makes for a really great and pretty speedy meal. The place is very cozy but enough space to accommodate the people coming and going and it's on a cute corner on Spadina. All in all this place is one of my favourites because of the lovely and prompt service, the great pasta options and especially because of the proximity to the UofT campus.

Came here based on the good reviews but the food was mediocre, service was poor. Went here a couple years back for takeout. Was asked by the guy at the cash whether I wanted garlic bread when I picked up my order. I asked if it was included and I couldn't hear the answer because the kitchen was loud. The guy was confused (wasnt sure why he was confused when he asked ME?). He turned around to ask another guy who seemed like the owner. The owner came up and yelled at me" why do you think garlic bread would be included, I don't give food out for free!!" like idk man that's why I'm asking when YOUR staff asked me if I wanted bread without indicating if there was a charge. One of the weirder experiences I've had...Honestly, food was already mediocre student food, tasted even worse when there's a sweaty guy screaming at me before I ate.

A hidden gem! I have walked past this many times but went in for the first time yesterday. I had Fettuccini Arrabiata and it tasted really good.Saturdays are tax free (so cheaper) and any payment method is okay. The owner was friendly and welcoming.

Love this place! I've been taking my family here for about 10 years. Super casual pasta spot with delicious dishes and generous portions. Lots of variety of dishes, something for everyone, and in 10 years I have never ordered or tasted something from here I didn't like. It is a small team that runs the place, and they're all super and friendly, and will remember you if you go more than a few times.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is always fresh and delicious. The price is awesome for the amount of pasta you get. The owner is extremely friendly. I would highly recommend adding on the fresh bread and oil to your meal. Daddyo’s is my favourite pasta place in Toronto. Looking forward to my next meal with them.

This place never seems to be open. BF and I finally caught them this evening. Got a red, a white, and a lasagna. Everything was amazing! The white sauce is definitely my fav! Really friendly staff and just good vibes, even when they're insanely busy. Definitely coming back. ❤️?
