This is one of my go to places for cheap eats in Toronto. Nice hot broth and unlimited rice noodle refill for less than $15. Great place to go if you’re looking to carb load. Service is fast and there is ample seating so I never have to wait.
Several types of Dagu rice noodles are very delicious, especially the rattan pepper chicken steak and West Lake beef. I don’t know why all the nearby places are closed and only one is left. It’s such a pity that the remaining one is too far away.
It pains me to give this restaurant a 3/5 star review. But my past few experiences have been just okay due to the older server’s acting stingy whenever i ask for a noodle refill. I usually like to go 4 refills but the ladies almost hesitate to even accept the fact that I asked for another refill.Also, my partner wanted to take her bowl of noodle soup home as she couldn’t finish. She had a quarter of the amount of noodles from a refill and they refused to let her take home...
