I ordered a pain au chocolat and it was so stale, and they clearly knew this as I was asked if I wanted it heated up. Drinks are decent but don't bother with the baked goods.

Very aesthetically pleasing cafe right at Yonge and King. I was enticed by good reviews of the matcha but left underwhelmed. It's clearly way different than those posted from 4 months ago, I guess every cafe in the city is using a different powder now. It was not bad or earthy but rather sweet, but still very far from legit matcha, and still fairly priced at $6.50 before tax. If you've tried Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Matcha in Asia/the US, it's pretty similar, only that Daily Ritual barely used any powder and was mostly milk. Long wait time for a simple toasted bagel and I even had to spread the cream cheese myself.

Don’t need to say much apart from the fact that they were perfectly fine serving this bagel to a customer.
A cozy café with a beautiful seating area facing King Street, but the sound was very disturbing because of the echo.

Reuben sandwich was so burnt and dry that it was difficult to get it down without choking. Do better!

Nestled inside the stunning One King West Hotel, Daily Ritual Cafe felt like a true hidden gem in the core of Toronto’s Financial District. What surprised me most was the quality and creativity of the food: far exceeding what you’d expect from a typical hotel café.
The One King Breakfast was a standout: the three-egg omelet was cooked just right: fluffy with no rubbery edges and paired perfectly with crisp strips of bacon and juicy sausage links. The hashbrowns were golden and well-seasoned, adding the kind of hearty crunch every breakfast plate needs. The sourdough toast was thick-cut and lightly buttered, served warm; the kind of detail that made this breakfast feel intentionally crafted.
The Pancakes were soft and airy with a subtle vanilla note, generously drizzled in dulce de leche and real maple syrup. The berry compote added a tart contrast, and the Sterling Creamery butter and whipped cream brought it all together in rich, creamy harmony. They weren’t overly sweet, but indulgent in the best way.

I'm visiting Toronto from Italy and I was recommended by a friend to try Daily Ritual Coffee, as an Italian I care about my espresso A LOT. Im not gonna lie, I was skeptical at first but I explained to Mekenna the barista what I wanted and she was fantastic, so far the best service I had in the city. She was fast and understood exactly what I was looking for! Brava!!
Not a place to sit and enjoy your coffee but definitely a take out shop.
I got a croissant and it was decent, flaky and buttery enough.
The place is very clean and bright, full of sunlight. However the seats are very uncomfortable. Tables are also small, just enough to have a quick coffee and go.

It’s a nice place that has variety of breakfast.
I tried the pancakes and it was delicious, I give the pancakes 8.9/10
I also tried the pistachio croissant and it was great, I give it 9.1/10
It’s worth to revisit. I’m coming back to try the other type of breakfast mentioned in the list
