Cozy, curated space with service that combines professionalism with human warmth. The menu is “elevated diner” with something for everyone. Less busy on Thursdays and Fridays, when it’s the perfect place for brunch classics, good coffee (or cocktails) and conversation.

Came for brunch on a Saturday. Had to wait maybe 10 minutes as it’s a smaller place.
They have individual menu options so it’s a bit of a mix and match adventure for breakfast, like the breakfast sandwich doesn’t come with sides. We also got the corn fritters, a table French toast.
Wish we tried the tater tots instead. Coffee was really good and they had some sort of honey lavender syrup as a sweetener.

Absolutely lovely spot in The Annex, came here in a crisis with a dead phone and the entire team here was so lovely :) I would highly recommend coming here based on that alone, but I kid you not, that was a really life changing sandwich I just had.
Please try a sandwich here you won’t regret it

Really disappointed with our experience. I was really looking forward to it after seeing a video on TikTok. For about $80 we got a French toast with barely any maple syrup (although the challah was a nice touch), a tiny eggs Benny with no side, and steak frites subbed with tater tots. No drinks either.
The Benny was basically inedible as the toast was so hard with barely any sauce. My eggs flew all over as I tried to cut the toast - it’s really why folks generally go with the English muffin as it holds the eggs and bacon better and usually takes a ton of over toasting to get to that level. I couldn’t taste the Hollandaise whatsoever. The steak and tater tots were great; although an average adult will probably still be hungry as the steak is quite thin.
Service was basically non-existent and the space is cramped and not accessible (there is a step at the front and not enough room to get a wheeled chair through). They need a double door to keep the cold air out cos every time the single door opened it froze the place.

We got there on a Friday at 1 pm just before a crowd showed up.
This used to be the Grapefruit Moon where I’d have a snack and read while waiting for my kids at their after school math program. So they’re gone. Sad reality of restaurants.
Didn’t know what to expect because I don’t look at reviews before I pop in to try a place that tickles my fancy.
My friend and I decided to share everything and we luckily were interested in the same things on the menu: corn fritter, fries, Croquet Madame, and Key Lime Pie.
Corn fritters were unique and delicious. Their dill sauce was particularly delightful. The fries were disappointingly m’eh. I would not order that again. Especially since the sweet potato fries from GP were perfection. Then they hit the nail on the head for our main sandwich and dessert. Perfectly done.
Service was nice, even while they got crazy busy. I always appreciate a nice bottle of water and the speed at which that get replaced or refilled. I don’t like to order drinks. It keeps the price lower.
The decor was cozy.
Of course I should have taken photos. But I’m just bad that way. My brain won’t do it. Sorry.

The food was good, but you can definitely find similar, larger meals at a better price across the city.
While the atmosphere is inviting in its aesthetic, I unfortunately have to agree with a previous review highlighting differential treatment as a person of color - specifically a Black person.

Cute and chic, tik tok got to it and now it’s a forever wait. But still great
Dropped in for brunch with a friend this morning. Saw this posted on IG. So figured I'd hit up an area of the city I don't often come to.
Overall 3.5 stars for the spot. Tried the French toast and the corn fitters for brunch. The corn fritters was good as was the French toast. Wish the French toast came with a little more maple syrup.
I didn't get anything to drink. My friend had the fresh orange juice and liked it.
We came at 9:50am and waited in a small line. The spotted was packed by 10:10am. So come early if you don't want to wait in a line to get in.

This was an incredible experience for brunch. Had the fried chicken sandwich, pear and Gorgonzola salad, fries and the grilled cheese. We forgot to ask for the grilled cheese without meat and they were so accommodating and sent out a new one at no extra charge. The chicken was deeply seasoned and juicy. One of the better ones I’ve had in the city. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly (thank you Olivia), decor and vibes immaculate and the key lime pie to top it all off was to die for. 10/10 recommend. Try to arrive early to avoid a wait for a table.

Decent spot, good and quick service however the food was quite mediocre and nothing special. Was excited to try their fried chicken sandwich which is supposed to be great however it lacked flavour and quality.
Not sure why this place has so many great reviews and people raving about the sandwich while it’s nothing special and there are so many better places in Toronto for similar type of food.
Also ordered the beef smash burger which was quite dry and not worth it as well

Extremely Disappointing Experience
I just went to Daisy May’s and had a really bad experience. They told me there was a 1 hour and 30 minute wait, even though I could clearly see two empty tables inside. They don’t take reservations, so I don’t understand why they wouldn’t seat me.
What made it worse is that I couldn’t help but feel like I was being treated differently — as a Latina, this situation made me very uncomfortable, and it genuinely felt unfair. Customer service should make everyone feel welcome, and that was definitely not the case today.
I left without eating and without feeling respected. Definitely not coming back, and I recommend not going to this place.
It was snowing like mad, so their patio was closed, hence having to wait- it’s a small place. The food is worth the wait though! We had two breakfast sandwiches, a club house and an Italian special, plus corn fritters, tater tots and house Cole slaw. Everything was excellent! Tots and fritters were amazing. My club house was a bit messy to eat but very tasty. Molto gustozzo! We’ll be back!

I came here for Sunday brunch. It seems like a popular place, so be prepared to wait. The restaurant has a cute sitting and decor. However, it seemed the kitchen couldn't handle the seating capacity, so table turnover was unusually slow. We were seated before another couple, but the server took their orders 5 mins before us even though we had been waiting longer. We got Fried chicken sandwich, eggs benny, and tater tots which were good, but was on the smaller side for their price. I found the tater tots were a bit too salty and the bread on eggs benedict was disproportionately small. We were also disappointed that the servers didn't check on us or asked how we found the food. I was looking forward to checking out this place, so the experience was disappointing.
