Best food i ever had in toronto. The soup, the chicken, the pickle cucumber everything was so great. I had the 2 people bbq just by myself. I thought i won’t be able to eat so much, but the food was so good i couldn’t resist myself. Thank you for the food and amazing hospitality. See you soon again.

Daldongnae always be my comfy restaurant. This was the first time I visited this location and I am still so satisfied. Food always good quality and I think some of the little dishs even more yummy here! Friendly staff never rush you so you can take your time to enjoy your grill, steam egg, cheese corn, little dishs and hotpot miso soup.. Highly Highly recommend!!

Walking in Chinatown area I was thinking where to stop for late lunch. By the time my sister & I decided to stop we were in front of this place. Quickly checked the reviews and thought it best to enter. It wasn't full, only two tables occupied by bigger groups who were all having barbecue on their tables.
We decided to go for Beef Bulgogi. Since we weren't very hungry we shared the meal and glad that we did so as it was pretty big as it came. Loved every bit of it as it was flavourful. Found the beef slightly stringy. The rice was complementing everything. The pickled vegetables were fantastic. It's a gem of a place with a very pleasant server who was very helpful.

This is the second time I came back to this location! They have the best beef ever! I love their atmosphere and vibe, super calm, chill and a perfect place to have dinner with friends, especially in the winter. Definitely comeback next time ❤️

We are visiting from Vancouver and heard that Daldongnae had the best korean bbq in town and we had to try. it is the best. Everything was amazing. The place has such amazing vibes. Super nice hosts too. 10/10

Never had Korean bbq before, usually very picky eater, I genuinely enjoyed this place. As did everyone I was with. the staff even noticed the sun shining in my sisters face then blocked it without being asked. Food was yummy and fun. Everyone was super nice. I live too far away to come back but I am very glad we stopped here. I don't leave reviews but I liked this place enough I had too.

We stopped by around 9pm just to have some drinks and appetizers. The place wasn’t too busy (only 3–4 tables filled). First, we ordered our drinks and appetizers, but after about 20 minutes the server came back and told us they wouldn’t serve any appetizers unless we ordered a full BBQ meal. We explained we weren’t in the mood for heavy food that late and just wanted some drinks.

A bit later, the server returned to check my ID for alcohol service. I’m 30 years old (I wish I looked under 21!), but unfortunately I didn’t have my physical ID on me at the time. I offered to show a photo of it as proof, but he refused and insisted on seeing the original. With that attitude and the unwelcoming service, we decided to leave, and won’t be coming back.
