My family visits Dan Gol often and we’d say this is our favourite Korean restaurant. We have tried various dishes including the bibimbap, Katsu, gamjatang, jajangmyeon, cold noodles, sundubu jjigae and dumpling/rice cake soup. All the dishes are made well and are very flavourful and taste authentic. There are refills on side dishes and when we came the other day, they gave our family a plate of fried gyoza.

The prices here are comparable to many other Korean restaurants and they have a lot of variety on the menu. We will definitely continue coming here.

All aunties are so nice and kind. They all with smiles. I’m not good at deciding, they didn’t pressure me too. Food is so delicious and warmed my heart.

Came twice within the last couple months and the food is constantly delicious and the staff are lovely + so attentive. I've had the chili fried chicken, bulgogi tteokbokki, cheese corn, and bulgogi bibimbap. Every dish was flavorful. The portions are generous. I enjoyed everything about my meal and their service.

Wow, easily the best Korean restaurant I've been to. The jjangjangmyun, croquettes and jam pong were all amazing. Great portions as well and reasonably priced.

A hidden gem in the middle of Scarborough.
Was craving some cold noodles one day and found this place close by and with good reviews.
The Dangol naengmyun is refreshing and less vinegar-y than traditional mul naengmyun. The soon tofu stew (jigae) was served hot and fresh. The seafood pancake (haemul pajeon) was crispy on the edges and large.
Side dishes are standard fare and service is quick without frills.
Will definitely come again!

Our favourite Korean restaurant in Scarborough! The jjajangmyeon is one of the best I have had with the perfect texture in the noodles. We tried their kimchi fried rice, sweet and sour pork, along with their bibimbap and everything was amazing! They also were so nice and gave us a 2nd serving of side dishes. If you're craving good Korean food, definitely come here :)

Food was just ordinary, nothing stands out. Service was not great. She was trying to collect my bowl when I was half way done.. then she realized I wasn’t done. The store was empty just 1 other table then us, she came minutes after we finished our meal to give us our bill. (Not close to closing time at all) I would’ve understood if they were closing or busy but that was not the case.

Amazing food! I really enjoyed the rice cakes as it was chewy and not too spicy. There was a lot of side dishes which I enjoyed alongside the main dishes. The size portions are generous and great to share with people!

Located in the Alton Tower plaza in Scarborough, Dangol is a great place if you want to have Korean hot pot and noodle soups.
In addition to hot pot, they do have Korean fried chicken for those who opt out for soups.
Their service is friendly and efficient.
We took a shareable hotpot $45 Yukgaejang (Korea spicy beef, with vegetables) this dish is served with two bowls of purple rice and along with the usual Korean side dishes that comes with it.

The food was good but I gave the restaurant two stars because of the service, which was horrendous and almost ruined our evening. Seven of us, all seniors, went there on a weekday at around 7:30 pm. The restaurant was not full at all. We ordered the following dishes to share: a large double order of pork bone soup which was for three people according to the menu, seafood pancake, bulgogi on a hotplate and fried chicken with eight to ten pieces. Our server, who looked unhappy from the start, said that was not going to be enough. Being seniors and just having finished a big lunch at 2:30 pm, we told her it should be enough. As it turned out, we even have left overs. She looked upset and went away unhappy.

When the pork bone soup came it was in a large pot and we asked for a few extra bowls. The server refused to give it to us and asked us to eat with the very shallow bowls! Unbelievable.

The restaurant was suppose to close at 10 pm. At 9:15 pm she started turning off the light. I guess she was still upset that we didn’t order enough food?

Terrible, terrible service.
