Located in the Alton Tower plaza in Scarborough, Dangol is a great place if you want to have Korean hot pot and noodle soups.
In addition to hot pot, they do have Korean fried chicken for those who opt out for soups.
Their service is friendly and efficient.
We took a shareable hotpot $45 Yukgaejang (Korea spicy beef, with vegetables) this dish is served with two bowls of purple rice and along with the usual Korean side dishes that comes with it.

fried chicken alone gives this place 5/5. only korean restaurant to only offer two refills for side dishes. expect bad customer service. it seems as though they’ve had this issue with bad customer service for a while, and nothing has changed.

if the chicken wasn’t so good, the review would’ve been 1/5 from the service alone.

Went for lunch today, ordered Chicken Bibimbap and kalbi Tang. Both are good, and the small dishes were just regular no surprise. The price is normal as the other korean restaurant, but the service was bad, the server never smile and say thank you even when you greet her and say thank you to her. Even whey you pay and give them tips still no smile and no thank you. Never ask you how the meal was or if you need anything extra. I do not think I will go back, there are lots...
