My favorite restaurant in Toronto! Of course, the pizza is amazing, but you must try the appetizers like the mozzarella sticks and garlic bread. The atmosphere inside is fantastic, and the patio on College Street has the best vibes. Above all, the servers are super friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to the manager, Kilian! he’s professional, gentlemanly, and truly outstanding. Absolutely loved the experience!

I’ve been to Danny’s twice and both times, the food was very good. The tavern-style pizza is something different in Toronto so we really enjoyed that. Recently, we had ordered a few items to come together or around the same time - a few apps and the cheese pizza. The apps came out around 40 minutes after we ordered. Server never stopped by to check and I had to flag her 15 minutes later to ask if our pizza was coming. The arugula salad was delicious and portions are generous. Service was abysmal and suggested tip at payment started at 20%. Server never noticed the pizza was missing, didn’t fill water when it was empty and didn’t check on us at all. What exactly am I tipping for? In my opinion, the atmosphere is not very enjoyable - very loud, crammed and smells like dish water which was unpleasant. Overall, the food is good but due to the service and atmosphere, I wouldn’t return. Recommend making a reservation if you are going to give Danny’s a try. They’re always busy.

Ordered for the first time tonight after hearing great things. Pizza was unfortunately not what I was expecting at all. Burnt and rock hard like a pita chip. Paper thin crust but not in a good way. Only slices that were good were in the very centre (the ones that actually look like they’re moist with toppings). Why is this circle pizza cut into squares like I’m hosting a children’s birthday party? Felt like I was eating crackers based on the thinness, rock hard flavourless base, and strange small size of the squares. Mad that I paid $39 for this crispy pizza flavoured cookie but my partner still seemed to like it so you get to keep the one star (perhaps it’s just not my cup of tea)

Great tavern style pizza place in Little Italy! We ate at the outside bench seating which had a great view of the inside while also enjoying the outside atmosphere. We got the caesar salad and the pepperoni pizza with the garlic sauce (a must)! Both delicious. Would pick the root beer over the lemonade next time.
