We chose to celebrate our anniversary at Restaurant Dasha. I absolutely loved the vibe of this place, but it was difficult to read the menu because the lighting was quite dim. I definitely appreciated the service; the waitstaff were attentive and took great care of us. As for the downsides, honestly, the food was quite ordinary, and I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking to try something unique or special. This was quite disappointing for me. I can recommend this place if you're looking for a private setting with a great vibe for conversations.
The service was great. We were seated at the very back of the restaurant where you had a full view of the kitchen which wasn't impressive. It did not match the ambiance of the restaurant. The drinks were good. The food was okay. We had to return the spicy tune roll. I don't think I'll be returning.
I always love it here, I've been coming since it opened and have never been disappointed by the food and the vibe!
Had THE worst experience ever. The har gow was so bland and flavourless, bunch of nothing in ur mouth. Spicy tuna roll was just onions wrapped in sushi - we had the stalest taste in our mouth after. Worst one was the dragon roll which was not fresh and thankfully they took off the bill for us cause we couldn't even finish it cause of how bad it was. Duck fried rice was good but we had to ask for it multiple times even though it was sitting out on the counter for so long. The sweet & sour chicken we wanted to pair the rice with came out 10 minutes after the rice was given which makes no sense to eat the chicken on its own which by the way tasted purely of vinaigrette. Our server Alex was nice, however not attentive at all. We had to flag him down multiple times to refill our water and to even place an order in the first place. I get it's a Saturday night but it wasn't fully packed as we went at 9:45 pm and I saw multiple other servers on the floor. Last but not least, I saw a charge for chili oil on the receipt which we never ordered/asked for. The only pairing that came with the har gow was some red ginger sauce so not sure what this extra charge was for... weird shady business. Music was way too loud. I would deffo never return, waste of time & money.
Please remove the steamed fish from the menu. Even the server said she wouldn't recommend it and we were wrong to try it. Music is way too loud to allow a good conversation without needing to yell. Service and reception was the best
went here for my birthday and was totally thrown off by the service. lack of care from one of the servers and rushed the whole birthday celebration, they didn't even give me a chance to record it. also felt pressured into ordering food when we specifically only went for drinks. server also showed some attitude which ruined the whole fun. $32 for a bitter drink that had 90% ice and a fee for bringing our own cake?
Excellent food and atmosphere. Had to wait 20 mins despite reservation which was a bit annoying
Bring back the Pork Bun what is the chef doing literally the best thing on the menu and it's gone for a small taco
Sebastian, our sever was amazing throughout the dinner. It was our anniversary and he was nice to even offer a glass of bubbly at the end of the meal to celebrate as we were stuffed with all the yummy food.
Went there with a big group for a birthday. The plates are shareable and food was great. Recommend the pork belly tacos as they almost melt in your mouth.

The restaurant is overly hyped. Everything we ordered was lukewarm. The quantity/portion served for each dish is extremely less. Even the waitress agreed that their portions are small. Also the place the red lights which gives a very shady appearance to the place. However, the receptionist was very warm and welcoming. But still I would NOT RECOMMENDED this place to anyone I know.

I went to Dasha for the bottomless brunch. We had a great server, and the restaurant was beautiful, but the food was just okay. We had a great time here and the atmosphere is nice. I'd probably come back again and check out the karaoke room.

We recently visited Dasha for a friends birthday, specifically for Karaoke. We were a large group, so we called ahead and spoke to the staff who clearly stated that if our group could make it down right away then they would hold the room for us. We even clarified and discussed the requirement of a CC for the reservation, to which the staff member said it would not be necessary if we could make it there shortly. Our group of 14 people got there as quickly as we could (within 20 minutes of speaking to staff) only to be told that the room was given up. We were obviously disappointed but understood there was no room available. We respectfully voiced our disappointment to staff as we were now a group of 14 on King St West at 12:30am with nowhere to go, after spending our time and money to be turned away from something we were told was guaranteed. Needless to say Dasha ruined our evening. An additional note: One of the “managers” decided it would be a good idea to physically push one of the people in our group as he was exiting the building. Don’t waste your time or money here, they don’t care and you might be assaulted, depending on how the management is feeling that day.
