The Chicken Schnitzel sandwich was fried just right and crispy. The service was great also. Sadly, the portion didn't match the price. $22+tax for a regular-sized sandwich and fries with a small bun and a tiny coleslaw.

We were looking for a deli in the Avenue Road/Fairlawn area to meet friends for lunch. This hit the spot! They were very accommodating for our friend’s mobility needs. The food was old-fashioned, deli, comfort food, with great chicken noodle soup. Their potato salad was excellent! I ordered the smoked turkey sandwich on a bagel, which was ample. The bagel was automatically served gluten-free, and I would have preferred a non-gluten-free bagel, so make sure that you specify when you order. The coffee needs improvement.

I ordered 2 chicken soups with Matzo balls and 2 with chicken kreplach. First, it was packed really well. No spills. The restaurant using fantastic containers. (This is key, I ordered from others and it’s spilled everywhere.

I need to say, this is the absolute best in the city. I’m home sick and was thrilled to find this gem. I called and spoke with Ken, he was a sweetheart. This is now my new go-to. If you are sick and need some loved chicken soup:…Run and pick it up. 5+stars. Looking forward to dining in once I’m better. Thank you!

The genuinely delicious deli meat keeps my Monday blues from staining violet. The smoked beef brisket is fall-apart tender, each bite bursting with savory, fatty juices that's balanced with a tangy dijon mustard and rye bread, the simple yet fulfilling lunch I need.

I tried the smoke meat sandwich 2 weeks ago. It wasn't the carneige deli but nobody can compete with them. Smokey flavour and it did taste pretty awesome. You do get what you pay for there. Definitely worth 35 bucks. I can give 5 stars.

This is the best place for deli in Toronto! The meat is amazing, the russet fries are cooked to perfection, and the cole slaw is delicious.

Also, friendly and helpful staff and Dave is a pleasure to talk to.

Yum, I had a smoked turkey sandwich and karnutzul. For those of you with a pep there’s a table outside the restaurant for you to sit. The food is great no I’m gonna stay outstanding.

Stopped in for lunch. I had no idea this place existed. The sign looked cool so i checked out some photos of the food and saw they have smoked meat so i thought to myself it can't be bad. Turns out it's actually very good. Forget any of those old school joints who claim to be good at this classic style deli. Dave is the real deal. The smoked meat sandwich was perfection. The fat was rendered perfectly to a golden hue. I got fries on the side expecting them to be greasy and soft but they were so crispy i couldn't stop eating them. Definitely double if not triple fried. Coleslaw was a perfect tangyness that cut through the heavier meat. Wish there was more coleslaw with the meal but all in all 10/10. I'll definitely go back.
