Love David’s tea and love this location. Eduardo showed us how to make a latte today when we bought them. We really appreciated that he took the time to explain the process to us so we could replicate it at home. Thank you!

I ordered the Black Camellia Ceramic Teapot & Teacup Set, but it arrived without a lid. Customer service told me the lid "is not essential to use the teapot," which makes no sense for an expensive product meant for brewing tea properly. They offered a partial refund or an exchange that requires me to pay shipping, even though the mistake was theirs. I expected better accountability and customer care from DAVIDsTEA. Very disappointed and won’t be ordering again.

Whenever I come to Toronto, I always make sure I make a stop (or two) in David's Tea at the Eaton Centre. The staff are always so friendly, you don't feel under pressure if you just want to have a look around, and they have an amazing selection of tea in-store. It's always one of the places I MUST go whenever I'm in Canada 🇨🇦 Can't wait to visit again soon.

l recently ordered 65 sachets of Cold 911 tea, reached out because far many of the tea bags have been defective. After multiple emails they told me nothing could be done, waste of time, and very poor customer service.

I placed an order on August 22, 2025. On August 25, I received an email that said “due to high demand, etc. etc.” Also on August 25, I received another email saying my order had been shipped. Great! And I thought no more of it until September 3, as I need that tea order by September 5th. So, on September 3 I chatted over the internet with someone at Davids Tea, wondering where my order was. They were of no help, telling me it had shipped, which I knew. And she blamed the delay on customs, which I knew wasn’t right; Nine days held up by customs? I think not. Your website says it ships out of Canada, (couldn’t find an address), but it does seem to have shipped from New York. Very strange situation. When I look up my USPS tracking info it says “Shipping Label Created, USPS awaiting item, Plattsburgh, NY, August 25, 6:38 PM. This lady I chatted with did not tell me any of this. Either David’s Tea shipped my order to New York, and they shelved it, but no that doesn’t seem possible; or David’s Tea has a shipping place in Plattsburg New York, and shelved it, or they created false labels. Now, after I complained, my package is now moving thru the USPS system!! I won’t get it on time, according to USPS tracking. I want my money refunded, which I’m sure they won’t do. Just stop buying from David’s Tea. Easily done.

Testing my dishes for lead tonight I discovered that the Tropical Yellow Perfect Mug I purchased from DavidsTea back in 2021 has a significant amount of lead in the painted leaves bordering the INSIDE lip of mug. With tea often being on the acidic side I can only imagine how much lead has leached into my tea over the past few years. Being the 2020’s we should not still be finding paint containing lead in the products we eat and drink from. I can only imagine how many of your other cups over the years have also contained lead. Terrible customer service. The shop assistant was rude, passive aggressive, and looked down on me probably because I'm a person of color. From the other reviews here, I see I'm not the only one who has had this experience.

Went to place an order and it didn’t give me the buy 1 get 1 free offer that they advertised. Sent an email, response was they escalate for someone to help me. That was over 3 days ago and NO RESPONSE. Sent 2 follow up emails and still no response . I used to love this company, probably on the way to another restructuring called BANKRUPTCY….so disappointed like many of the reviewers!
