Worse experience with their "accountant" harrased me for 24 hours when they released the hold too far ahead of time and then had an issue charging the card again. After that was resolved, I placed a new order, no issue with the hold, payment was ok and without ANY NOTICE they simply took the money and did not send the order! They have ok fish but are horrible with their custumer. Thanks for ruining my husbands birthday dinner.

My wife has a mollusk allergy and is very careful about mixing anything that comes in contact with mollusks. When we went into De La Mer last Saturday at the St Clair location and informed them of the allergy they said crab cakes from the fridge would be ok. After consuming the crab cakes she was sick all night, her normal reaction to consuming mollusks. The crab cakes had somehow come in contact with mollusks or contained mollusk juice. We expect that staff understand their product when they sell it. Unfortunately they don't. It looks like a great store but unfortunately we can't go back for concern of other cross contamination.
