Oat latté was underwhelming - tasted similar to Starbucks. Creme brûlée lolli roll was also underwhelming - tasted dry and not fresh. Really wanted to like this place more, but ultimately unlikely to return.

This is a review of the location at The Well.Gorgeous space in the lobby of 8 Spadina Avenue. Designed as a kiosk café so not a lot of dedicated cafe seating maybe 5 tables along the windows. Only drawback of this location. But perfect to grab a coffee and walk around The Well for window shopping.As with other locations, deMello coffee blends on sale to bring home including unique blends such as NomNom coffee (Vietnamese style). I am a fan of deMello blends and I like they are local. The day I visited one of the blends for takeaway coffee was Dead Man Walking and I tried a cup of that. Yup sounds strong and it was - but not bitter. Very enjoyable. Baked goods for sale too including vegan options.I must say I love deMello’s whole vibe including the Asian influence. Happy to support Asian owned business. The medium sized cups (the orange ones) have the tiger logo - very cool reminds me of Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda ?. The lids allow you to sip from the cup or via a straw.Good coffee and good vibes. Sound good to me.

Heard about this coffee being quite good so we decided to give it a try. Latte was really fresh, good beans, great foam. For the scone though, it was surprisingly very dry and no fresh around 4pm. We tried both the blueberry and coconut one- flavours were very good, but just incredibly dry. Atmosphere was very modern, they had a cool wooden bench there facing the CN tower, 3 levels of sparse tables.
Came for the lolli roll, but I had a fantastic experience.Staff were all very kind and patient!I got the pistachio lolli roll and a matcha soy latte, my colleague got the iceberg.The lolli roll was so full of cream- totally worth the price. The pastry itself was buttery- though tougher than I anticipated for a croissant based pastry.The matcha was delicious and creamy.I will be sure to visit again!

I love the addition of De Mello Coffee downtown! Another great place to visit on my work from home days.Lots of seating on the first and second levels of the building. Plenty of natural light with the high windows and very picturesque as it's at The Well.To eat and drink, I had their mushroom and feta panini sandwich and iced nomnom. Both tasted great!

Been there twice now and haven’t been disappointed yet. The blueberry latte was deliciously unique and the chai latte was the perfect sweetness. Don’t wait on the pastries (the rolls I think they are called)
