The Cortado at De Mello Coffee was okay. It was more on the sour side.
The L'Americano with Lime and Grapefruit Syrup was a complete miss. It tasted like water downed iced coffee with a hint of lime and grapefruit.

I’ve been wanting to try De Mello while visiting Toronto, and I’m so glad I finally did. I absolutely loved the oat latte — the coffee had a beautiful balance of flavor and was topped with the perfect foam. The pistachio chocolate croissant was also really nice, with just the right amount of filling. I also appreciated their cozy, well-designed space. Overall, such a lovely stop for a coffee break in the city.

Aside from good coffee, i appreciate that the barista really knows and passionately explains different brews for the day and gives coffee free tastes. I mistakenly thought my order was tea based, and they we're very kind enough to give me another cup for free that's tea based.

From the very first sip, the coffee stood out—rich, smooth, and absolutely worth the reputation. Their blueberry latte, in particular, is a must-try: aromatic, balanced, and easily the best flavored coffee I’ve had in a long time. Definitely worth the trip and highly recommended!
