One of my go-to pizza spots! Everything here is incredible, from their crispy green beans to the mouthwatering meatballs, and of course, the wood-fired pizzas. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-try! I’ll keep coming back for my favorite—Diavola pizza—it’s just too good to resist! Highly recommend!

We went yesterday to celebrate our son’s 40th birthday. It was a bit chaotic because there was a big family there, celebrating baptisms, but the staff were handling it well. Our main server was excellent, friendly, funny and congenial. We shared the calamari and caprese which were delicious. I had the shrimp linguine which unexpectedly included several mussels and calamari, all cooked to perfection. The short rib rigatoni was excellent, as were the huge portions of chicken parmigiana. The prices were extremely reasonable, and pastas were only $20 on Sunday! We were surprised that because it was our son’s birthday, our server brought a complimentary dessert tray with not one but three fabulous desserts! They were the best tiramisu, flourless torte and crème caramel ever. I wish we lived in Toronto because this would be a regular restaurant to dine at. A side note: the lighting fixtures were unique, and appeared to be handmade pottery which contributed to the ambiance of the place. I highly recommend Defina for fabulous Italian cuisine, at reasonable prices!

This restaurant is fantastic. Great pizzas, pastas. The octopus and calamari salad is delicious. But what really makes this place truly exceptional is the service. Bahadir is wonderful and is the best. We return often not only because of the great food but because he so wonderful.

I'm not a pizza or Italian food fan. But this is a place I always enjoy going and ordering take out from. Great combination and taste balance, perfectly baked. Always happy with the quality and recommend to everyone.
I have been to Defina's on Dupont 4 times so far and plan to come back again and again. Their pizza is one of the best in Toronto at a reasonable price. I recommend trying all of them but my personal favourite is "Vegan Love". Their service is outstanding! One time 3 out of 8 pizzas came burned on the bottom of some slices and without hesitation we got 3 more pizzas to replace the burned ones. In addition we received a free dessert platter on the house.

I've been Italy this past may. Travelled from Rome, Materra, Positino, Amalfi to Sicily. Ate pizza twice a day. Never ONCE did i get pizza as good a Definas. One is over hyped or the other is just that good.

As someone who is gluten free, and who often tries to minimize my dairy consumption, I am appreciative of Defina’s offerings!
This pizzeria has gluten free bases, as well as well-thought out vegan toppings (they do change up). The gluten free dough is very good. It’s more fluffy as opposed to flat (I prefer this Neapolitan style of pizza).
What I like most about Defina is their creative toppings. There really is something for everyone here! You want a regular margarita? Got it. You want a lot of cheese? Got it. You want chicken wings? Somehow - got it!
The service has also always been friendly, attentive, and willing to talk me through my dietary needs. I also like the more intimate atmosphere, which makes it perfect for a date (friendship, romantic, or even self-dating).
For a creative pizzeria that caters to multiple dietary restrictions, head over to Defina!
This restaurant is a lovely date night spot either sitting on the patio or in the beautiful restaurant. The staff team are so friendly and accomodating. We really appreciate Badhir's welcoming smike and fantastic service. The food is always awesome, especially the Molto Bello Diavola (a favourite of ours) and the Braised Short Rib Rigatoni. The cocktails are excellently mixed and the wine selection is good with the staff happy to recommend great pairings. I cannot say enough nice things about one of our favourite places to eat in our area. Thanks Defina! We will be back again soon.
