Great vibe in this large dining hall setting to enjoy authentic dim sum dishes brought to your table in push carts by friendly servers. The food was fresh and delicious, and service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend if you're craving dim sum.

Great food and service. The place is little loud and needs some scrubbing and some updates, but once you eat the food you forget about the look of the place. Definitely a great experience and very authentic.

I've lived in Toronto since 1975 and have worked in the front of house is many restaurants ranging from Pizzaria Uno on front street in the in 1988 to Langdon Hall in Cambridge.
I am a 'foodie' and also a very good cook.
I grew up eating delicious food because my mother was an amazing cook.
As a result of all of the above I refuse to eat at any restaurant unless I am confidant it will be great.
Although I've not tried all of the dim sum places in Toronto in my humble opinion this is one of the best. Plus it is one of the few that still has the carts what rotate through the dining room.

The dim sum was delicious; we especially loved the fried soft-shell crab, dau miu, curry octopus, squid tentacles, and congee. My advice is to stick to the dim sum items for brunch or lunch.
A tip for the bill: While there are perks to paying with cash, keep a close eye on your total—especially with a large group. We were overcharged by more than $80, which was an inconvenience that required a follow-up the next day to get somewhat resolved. I’d suggest keeping a tally of your order and using a calculator to verify the math before paying.

A Toronto institution! Nothing like sitting down for yum cha for brunch where carts still come by with little morsels of goodness. Prices have gone up with the times but the expansive dining room on the 3rd floor remains. Efficient service, English is decent, cash still preferred but cards are accepted now. Old favorites remain like their baked cha siu pastries, hockey pucks, excellent to fu fa.

Unfortunate experience. Well below standard. Shady prices. Small servings for a Canadian fare. Ordered ‘free range chicken - 1/2 bird’ … quite a few pieces missing!

This is our go to Dim Sum spot in Toronto. The carts come fast and furious with a good rotating selection that is always fresh and hot.

The shorter male server/manager was extremely rude. He had a nasty attitude, sighing and complaining loudly in front of us, at us, when we made a simple and normal-for-customers request for chopsticks. This behaviour is unwarranted and not deserved. Somehow the other workers (who happened to be female) were all right, but this man was so rude that it ruined our guests and our mood, overall giving a bad impression on our experience at this restaurant.
