Mediocre dim sum, ordered six dishes and half of them don’t taste good. Rice noodle roll has thick starchy skin, so as the deep fried glutinous rice dumplings have super thick texture. All of their steamed dumplings have super thick skin and very starchy and falls apart easily.

They remodelled the place and it seems like they are trying to make dim sum hip or something, what with the lounge type music and the high cost. The fact that they give plates only but no bowls or spoons to go with the set like your usual old school place. Looks like it works as we were pretty much the only Chinese people there at lunch.

I would give this place about a 3.5 for the dim sum. Firstly the high prices do not match the quality or quantity you get. Our CheungFun pretty much broke apart when trying to pick it off the plate. The noodles were too soft to hold it together.

It looks like the best deals would be getting the Lunch Specials. The pictures on the menu make it look kind of small for portion size so we didn't order it. But we saw other people order it and they were huge. It's a missed opportunity here.

I would definitely consider going again just to try the lunch specials.

As we sat down, our servers brought over our hot tea. Traditional Chinese restaurants would provide complimentary tea as a staple. As we were looking at the menu we saw that they were charging $1.50 per person for the tea, which I thought was straight robbery. They didn’t even ask if we wanted tea. They just dropped it off. When I asked them about the charge they seemed surprised that no one asked but instead of honoring this pot of tea, they just took away the pot and gave us hot water and iced water.

As the food was coming, they just placed the food on the table and not even the lazy Susan. We had to lift the food onto the lazy Susan when they dropped it off. The plate was HOT.

The food is mediocre and price of the food DOES NOT reflect on how good the food was. This place is on its way down… not sure if there is new management or new head chef.

One of the best dim sum on the east side of downtown. They have all your Classics in a wide range of all types of dishes. The selections is great and the prices are reasonable. No one ever leaves that place hungry lol. Does staff riviere attentive but could be a little friendlier.

This has to be the worst tasting take-out Chinese I’ve ever had. I ordered off of uber eats. The only decent was the fried soya noodle sauce noodles.
Mongolian crispy beef - the fried beef huge pieces, some the size of the palm of my hand - the sauce was terrible. Thought it would be like a typical ginger fried beef as per the picture they display, instead it was this sweet sauce, no balance of savoury, just waaaay too sweet. I understand the low score for this item on the uber app (65%).
The general tao chicken and sweet and sour pork were both underwhelming and the steamed broccoli had this weird metallic taste.

The food is honestly too expensive for its price imo. 8 dollars for one dish is a bit much considering how it didn't taste that good. Also the tea is pretty bad, it's not the usual in other dimsum places I tried. Overall it's an aesthetic place but the tea really made me not like it (tasted like the healthy drinks my aunt would give me) and just not worth it. It's a good place yeah but you can easily find other good places that's cheaper and better (oh but if you plan to go I would reccomend the siu mai)

It’s a great place for dim sum in eastern chinatown of Toronto. The restaurant is very clean and nicely decorated. Staffs are very friendly, order is from an ipad with pictures, very good for individuals who may not know dim sum that much! Overall it’s a great meal, will definitely go again!
