My family and I decided to try this place after seeing how busy the place is. We were very surprised to determine that the food is average, and tasted like any other chinese food in the area. The service and the atmosphere was excellent, our only issue was the quality of the food. The stuffer crabclaws were great. However, my wife ordered the lobster chowmein and sadly, the needles remained course, chewey, very crispy and unappetizing throughput the entire eating process.. Therefore, we give this restaurant 2 out of 5.

Its just ok. The dim sum was pretty decent, would give that a 4, but the Mongolian beef we got was really mediocre. If you live nearby, its decent enough to do the job. No need to go out of your way. The restaurant interior is very nice, and they have a lot of group seating options.
It was delicious amazing surf service and it looks very beautiful in there. There’s not too many chairs, but it’s still has enough for a lot of people.

Dine and Dim which took over from the Pearl court on Gerrard was in the 1st 2 years a great change and uplift from the Old Pearl Court. We been going to the Pearl since 1988 when the original.owner & chef at the time was on top of his game. Fast forward to Dine and dim which has kept the majority of the menu but exellerated the restaurant to the New Age and new look that the place needed. Sadly the food has gone down hill. We always ordered the usual Crispy Chicken whixh was a family favorite. But like other dishes has gone down hill. YEUNG Chow Fried rice is OK. But the bland Cantonese Chowmein
