Didn’t try much here beside the drink as we wanted to try the poutine but their pandan drink is pretty solid.

A vibey Vietnamese cafe with nice interiors! I tried the shredded chicken salad which came with shrimp chips — it was very average, but still enjoyable. On the other hand, the purple craze drink was really tasty and smooth! My friends also really enjoyed their banh mi and the iced matcha latte.Service was nice, but be aware that it may take a while for food to come. Although we were the only ones there, our food took half an hour to come.
Decided to check it out because of the glowing reviews, only to be disappointed with the worst “banh mi” sandwich.First the vibe inside feels like it’s trying to wear many hats. A mismatch of styles, and awkward seating for groups of 4+. The wait staff is kind, but very inattentive. The food menu is small and focuses on ‘modernized’ viet inspired snacks. The banh mi was $10+ and literally just a toasted baguette with spicy mayo and shredded pork flakes on the top. No greens, nor any flavour. My friend ordered the “deconstructed” banh mi, which was a soup with a baguette on the side. I think some pictures on the menu will help patrons know what they’re ordering. If you’re coming here, stick to the drinks.

Lovely Vietnamese cafe with Asian inspired drinks and snacks. Both the Ube Latte and Viet Ice Coffee were strong but also tasty and smooth. Small shareables were all delicious and unique - most memorable was the shredded pork sticky rice. I’d highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for authentic Vietnamese drinks and food you haven’t seen elsewhere.

What a great, little, fun place to stop if you're in the area. The Viet coffee was excellent and our group tried an array of drinks we all enjoyedThe food was good and a little adventurous. Unfortunately, they were out of fries, so I couldn't try the Pho Poutine, but the way they talked about it definitely explained why it's sold out!Worth your time if you can spare it

I came here because some articles and reviews mentioned they have egg coffee and I wanted to try it from somewhere other than Dak Lak and this place has been on my "to go" list for a year anyway.Note: they do not have egg coffee (anymore). At least, it is no longer on their menu and when I asked about it, they said they don't have it. Whether that meant that day, or forever, I don't know. So, I settled in and ordered an ube/pandan/cheesefoam iced viet coffee instead, and since I was peckish, a vegetarian bánh mì too.I fully expected to like this place but I can't help but feel either the post-COVID era was particularly harsh on them as a new business, or the establishment is already getting lazy. It was nothing like previous articles raved about. Nor like their IG makes it look. Menu seemed very limited comparatively. I wonder if there is a different menu for later in the day? I didn't get any of the "street eats" I see here. Just the café and drinks menu. The drink was... fine. I don't know how else to describe it, but it was completely unremarkable. Sure, it's green and purple, but that's where the interesting stuff ends. Flavour was just... present. Nothing stood out. I'm a s***** for cheesefoam but it barely seemed there. Idk.The bánh mì was not good. The bread tasted and felt stale and dry. It was flat. The filling was negligible and bland looking. It certainly didn't look very appealing. It was literally a few pieces of thin fried tofu and a tiny spattering of white pickled veg and mostly fried onions. Not even a spring of green anywhere. All of that lack of appetizing presentation would be totally cool if it had an amazing taste. But it didn't. It didn't taste like much except the sweet hoisin sauce they used. Really disappointing. I too can dump a bunch of hoisin on a sandwich. There was nothing strikingly Vietnamese about it. Lemongrass in the tofu was nonexistent and tofu was fried to death. You can see in my photo that it looks nothing like the promo photos the business posts. And lbr, if the bread for a banh mi isn't fresh, what's even the point? In fairness, it is only $8... but I can get much better, fuller, fresher, more flavourful banh mì for way cheaper at many mom & pop Vietnamese spots in the east end, especially.I just don't understand the hype?I think I miscalculated and should have ordered the dessert, like the salted egg cupcake and stuck with a regular viet coffee. That seems to be the key.The place was empty and seemed a bit sad. Like it's seen better days. I was a little surprised because all the amazing reviews make it seem like it's always busy here. I was the only customer for most of my visit. The best part was the server who was very welcoming and attentive. Maybe it's worth a shot if you can get their full menu, and not just the café one.

Highly recommend for a well-priced delicious lunch! We had the pandan coffee and the egg iced coffee (pictured), as well as the chicken banh mi and salted egg cupcake. The banh mi bread is one of the best I’ve had - I’ve been looking everywhere for bread like this. The cupcake was fluffy, light and delicious. And the coffees - just perfect for a hot day. Keep it up and add more banh mi filling options please!

Very cool cafe during the day. I stopped by on my way to buy a house plant. I’m not much of a coffee drinker, I get fidgety and start writing reviews. The coffee was very tasty and very colourful. The small dishes are very nice as well. I had the Viet beef carpaccio. It is blow torched table-side. Very delicious, tender and flavourful. Excited to come back again to try some more of the small bites.
Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp from pavement, fairly wide door, very attentive staff. Concrete floor inside.

Lively vibe, vibrant interiors, pretty good drinks. The viet coffee and peach tea were a bit muted but refreshing. The salted egg cupcake was light and eggy.
Wow, was the first word when I bit into the banh mi beef sandwich. There’s a lunch combo with coffee or tea. I had the iced coffee. It’s strong, just how I like it.The sandwich comes with a dipping soup and it brings so much comfort. Everything was flavourful. The atmosphere is fun, gives you urban asian street vibe but still has that calming feel like cafes should. Definitely coming back!

Cool place. They have discounted drinks for happy hour, really nice big window they open up that connects the space to the street. Had the sandwich, I forget which one.. it was reasonably priced and tasted good.

What a whole vibe inside this hidden gem on College st! A Vietnam cafe / bar / lounge with amazing tapas and cocktails! I really enjoyed the Vietnamese coffee with the ube and pandan (with cheese foam) it was SO DELICIOUS and I'm obsessed with the decor. It brings me straight back to Vietnam lounging. They have a DJ on Fridays and Saturdays and Thursday are their acoustic nights!!!

Went here a month ago and I quite love the place. A trendy cafe/bar that has unique asian inspired drinks. They also serve alcoholic drinks if you fancy that. Love the vibe of this place! A little bit on the pricier side but hey, it's contemporary and modern. I ordered the lemongrass chicken banh mi and the pho beef brisket banh mi which I both liked. It could use some cilantro though but they have a good amount of filling and the flavour was spot on. We also ordered the purple craze (ube) and the pandan love but I enjoyed the pandan more... The ube was a little too subtle for me. The salted egg cupcake was decent but it was definitely different. Overall, it's a nice place to just vibe and go for snacks and coffee in the day time/afternoon hours. Would love to check it out again in the evening when they serve alcohol.

Poor overall. We ordered a bunch of dishes, and some of the dishes were seemingly forgetten about. We had to get the attention of our waiter to get the pho fries to come, but our slider never made it to the table. The items were put into the PoS while taking the order, yet there was some type of miscommunication with the staff where they just...forgot? The staff could not seem to refund me for the slider since we only realized after paying, so I had to pay for food that we never got. Despite being the only table, we could not get a hold of our waiter who almost forgot we were there. The prices weren't shocking, I get how Toronto restaurants are, but they were steep considering the ingredients and portion size. We knew portions would be small, hence ordering a lot, but when things don't come to the table, it's pretty frustrating. The food itself was alright, it tasted fine but definitely not worth going out of your way for.
July 2nd. I came here with my friends. The drinks + food are tasty and nice. However, there were 2 people at the courter ( one is the owner, other one is a girl). The attitude when she bring the food to us was so rude, passive. Even she leave the food on another table nearby my table, then ask us to grab it without any kindly word. I feel regret for tipping upfront before being served.
