We live in the neighborhood and love the pizza, especially the Gluten-friendly crust! (I am Celiac). We went online today to place an order for pickup, but the website was gone. We were worried that the restaurant had closed!

I called the restaurant and spoke to someone about this. They told me that only Skip the Dishes and Uber Eats orders were now being accepted... I couldn't even place an order over the phone for pickup. (I don't have those apps)

Okay... so I asked if we could just walk in and pick up a pizza. The answer was no, because there's no way to accept payment in the store?? (What the heck?)... FINE I got Uber Eats just for this purpose... but there was no way to pick a gluten-friendly crust! So another pizza place got our business tonight.

I don't know what the plan is here, but if it's to turn away local customers, sadly it's working.

Don't you want the support of your local Distillery Neighbors? I am so confused.

I've been here a few times, I'm never disappointed! I'm leaving this review now because I went to Badiali's today and I can honestly say that I prefer District Pizza hands down! Their sauce is delicious and their toppings are top tier. The dipping sauce at District has so much flavor, I love it! Will definitely be getting pizza from here again and again!

Good service, tasty pizza, environment is quite bright which makes is not too cozy and more like fast-food chain.

I ate here Sunday evening for the first time and it was terrific! The lady at the counter was extremely helpful and friendly and gave me some great suggestions on what to order based on my dietary restrictions. Overall had a great time, ate delicious pizza and I’ll definitely be back soon! 🍕😌

We’ve been coming here for a while, and while we usually have a great experience—especially with the tall guy, who’s always amazing—this visit was disappointing. The cashier barely acknowledged us and seemed like she didn’t want to be there, which made the service feel unwelcoming.

On top of that, they didn’t even seem to know what was in stock until we arrived for pickup, which was frustrating. Maybe it’s because it’s the slow season and they aren’t fully prepared, but the place wasn’t even that busy. Instead of getting orders ready, the staff was sitting by the window watching TikTok—yet they expected us to believe they were too busy and needed an hour to make a simple Margherita pizza.

This place needs better structure and a team that actually wants to work. A little more attention to customer service and organization would make a huge difference.

Changing my rating from 5 stars to 2. I wouldn’t encounter any issues with this place until today. I ordered a slice of their Wolfgang pizza and the guy that put it in the oven left to do something else. He didn’t tell the woman who was also working there about it, leaving it to burn. So she tried putting a margherita slice in the oven, but that was a bust so she tried again with another margherita slice. After two unsuccessful margherita slices, I was losing my patience. We had one last go with a veggie slice, which thankfully was a success. The veggie pizza was good, but I was surprised at how irresponsible the staff was with my initial slice and the slices that followed. I almost wasted $9 on this ordeal. Staff, please don’t leave customers’ pizza slices to burn and let your colleagues know about them if you have to go and do something else.

Came here for a slice of pepperoni. One of the best reheated slices ever! The dough was fluffy and chewy. Salty pepperoni of the best quality.

Hidden in the middle of the distillery district. Nice decor for a small joint. Painted pizza boxes cover the walls.

The place was very small and not enough seats for the amount of traffic/people in the area. We had 7 people and no one got to eat at the same time. It all came out staggered. $8 for a slice of pepperoni pizza is wild, same with $8 for a milk shake. The staff who served us was lovely but I would not return.

Update- still terrible. 😢 Thought I'd give this place another chance as it's literally a 40 sec walk but was disappointed yet again. Ordered a margerita pizza. Based on reviews, I checked box before leaving & saw they forgot one of two key ingredients- fresh basil! They added some but when I took it home, saw pizza was soggy and more like a four cheese pizza than a simple Marg. Again, I've had better tasting Dr Oetker marg pizza. Please put some thought into your pizza prep. It's quite literally supposed to be your specialty.

Pizza slice was burnt. 😢 flavours not great. was too hungry to go back & get a fresh slice but lost me as a local customer - btw still not a hair net in sight. And just tried cannoli. Also burned. Also not good. Waste of $13. Don't waste your money. Eat literally anywhere else. McDonalds even

They charge $8.50 (before tax so it's basically $10) for a slice of mediocre pizza

We had visited the Toronto Christmas market and decided to stop by district pizza for a quick slice before we went home. It was about 10pm and it wasn't busy at all in the store . We ordered the pepperoni slice in the display. We noticed the cashier turn around and talk to other staff while our pizza was heating up. We later see her running to the oven and proceed to hand us a burnt pizza. We didn't want to cause a problem and it was the only pepperoni slice so we left it, but the pizza tasted completely burnt, my wife couldn't eat it and we had to stop by for food on the way home. It just didn't sit well with us as we paid 8$ for a slice of pizza . This must be a health concern. We tried letting the store know on social media but no response. This is just unacceptable for slice and pizza spot in this location.
