Food was ok, I had a vegan burger and my husband had steak sandwich. They were tasty but not the best as my burger was very dry. The service however, was not good, when we walked in the host or whoever was standing in front of the door did not even look at us to greet. We wasted a-bit until someone else came to sit us. Overall, everybody’s standing around talking with minimum attention to the guests and they had attitude serving us as if they’re doing us a favour. This definitely brought our experience very low on a Sunday when you’re just trying to go to a restart and relax.

Pricey, the only real downside, Decent food, about 1/3 of my steak had a little gristle and was tough on the end but enjoyed the rest. We had to rush at the end to see our show - Kygo outdoors - but it was later cancelled due to weather/lightening. Drinks were great, tho pricey as well.

Chose this place for the “clean eats” and espresso martini happy hour and it exceeded all expectations! Our family of 4 (2 and 5yo) were seated on the rooftop per our request on a lovely end of summer evening in late August. Our server was phenomenal giving our almost 6yo recommendations on what to eat and never making us feel out of place with young children during happy hour. We ordered the hummus starter, the soba noodle bowl and steak with a side of sweet potato fries. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection! We decided on the campfire smores as an end of vacation treat and we had a lot of fun making our delicious desert (complete with house made dark chocolate for melting :))

I hopped in here for lunch while waiting for the TIFF exhibit to open. Tasty and well plated food, a nice atmosphere, and good service. The only slight negative about the food is that I felt that portions were too big.

Love this place! So many gluten free/vegan/vegetarian options that are actually delicious! The atmosphere is also very cute and the rooftop patio is lovely! Expect to come by when you have some time to relax and enjoy the experience as the food doesn’t always come out super fast but it’s been delicious every time

Our recent experience at District was deeply disappointing. The service was severely lacking; the staff appeared uninterested and lacked the energy or enthusiasm that one would expect in a customer-facing role. Additionally, despite ordering during happy hour, we were billed the full amount. When we raised the issue, rather than offering an immediate apology, the staff attempted to downplay the mistake, suggesting that the difference was negligible when, in fact, it was nearly $15. This attempt to gaslight us was unacceptable and unprofessional. Wouldn’t return and can’t recommend.

"Clean Eating, Dirty Drinking" Adore this menu, wide range of health foods with easy vegan substitutes listed on menu. Mocktails and healthy cold pressed juices available. I had the peanut bowl and turmeric juice, both were so refreshing on a hot sunny day on the patio. Service was lovely. Patio very clean and inviting. Fun soundtrack, love the deep house covers playlist.
