This used to be my number one spot in the city before they got bought out. Now they removed menu items, cut corners (but still take over an hour to make a cutlet?), raised prices, and failed health inspections. Absolute disappointment what this new ownership has done.

Although it is still the best sign, it is no longer the best. I ordered takeout because of the original taste, but when it was delivered, I opened it with great expectations and was very speechless. The chicken steak was particularly unpalatable, the meat was very hard, and the packaging bag was full of It's oil (the driver delivered it very quickly, I live next door), it's almost the same price but a bit smaller. I probably won't come here again, I'm very disappointed.
Let memories turn into memories. Don't try to cheat people who are looking for memories. Put your real name on Google Maps and remove the name that no longer exists.
When I ordered takeout, I was still wondering why there were so many messy things on the menu. When I got it, it was obviously wrong. I only found out after reading the reviews that it was ranked No. 1. This new restaurant is just trying to sell dog meat.
Great place for fresh and flavour-full fried chickens. I tried Szechuan Style chicken which became my favourite from this spot. So good!

It’s no longer DIYIJIA. It was ok when I went there last week. Then when I went there last week, the store brand completely changed to one-night boiled beef. I went there for the chicken steak. I was very disappointed. The recipe has not changed, but the fried noodles have changed. After changing it, the size of the chicken cutlets became half of the original size, and the price also increased. This is not how business is done. Since you have taken over DIYIJIA's products, you should make them well and not cut corners. I will not go there again. It is really rubbish. Got it! If I could give 0 stars, I would definitely give 0 stars.
The boss is so nice. When Ubereats is closed immediately, it says closed. Then I make a call and the boss immediately opens Ubereats for us to order.
Got original boneless chicken spicy level 3, quite juicy and crispy. Recommend!

This is the smell I was familiar with in high school! I was moved to tears. It's a pity that the country seems to be dying soon.
Great to taste, as there might probably not much chicken steak in Toronto
The product is average
Walking by and the cheesplosion caught my eye. Ordered the plum one. By far the best fried chicken I’ve had. Super moist and crisp, and I loved that it was boneless as well! Highly recommend to give it a try.
We would always try out new restaurants every time we are in downtown Toronto for my husbands eye check up appointment. On a Wednesday shortly after the dine in restrictions were lifted we were planning to dine at a Japanese restaurant which was still close when we reached it. At 11 am there were still a few restaurants open in the vicinity of our hotel so we were left with very few choices to dine in for lunch. We chanced upon Diyijia which I believe is the largest and most famous fried chicken chain brand in China . The Yonge Street store is their first overseas store which opened in Downtown Toronto during the pandemic. Their menu is mostly fried food: chicken, fish and mushroom . Left with few choices we ordered their hot crunchy chicken wings (6 pcs), fried mushroom, popcorn chicken and sweet potato fries. The fried chicken batter was thick and made of crunchy sort of oatmeal texture that made one of chicken wing a bit half cooked. The popcorn chicken was better tasting and quite manageable to eat as well as the fried mushrooms. I have tried a lot of fried chicken wings from a lot of restaurants and I am not a fan of the one served in this restaurant. I wouldn't come back because the way they prepared their chicken is not to my liking.
