We’ve been to DOKKAEBI multiple times as we live in the neighborhood. This was an awesome find and a great addition to the Bloor Wesr / High Park área. Food is always tasty and on point plus service is outstanding. Super nice servers, in particular the chef’s wife who I believe is one of the owners of the place. She’s always super welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend this place!
Our third time eating Dokkaebi’s delicious sushi, sashimi and maki. This is our go to Japanese spot now and way better than other commercial chain restaurants. Freshest and tastiest fish at a very reasonable price. Look at the picture - we got two such boxes with salads and miso soup and it was within $50. For the quality of food here I think it’s fantastic. Great spot to eat inside as well with Japanese cabin style for privacy as well. I hope such local restaurants should...
This has quickly become my favourite sushi spot in Toronto. I haven’t had the opportunity to eat in just yet - but my take out experience has been nothing short of incredible. The packaging, the care that goes into making the food. It’s all been delicious, well packed. And on top of it, I’ve received the most lovely hand written notes in each delivery.
