My husband was realy impressed with the salad - simple with many types of greens and delicious dressing. My beet carpaccio with goat cheese was presented like a flower in bloom and was just as tasty. I had the shrimp and calamari - grilled to perfection with an amazing sauce and my mate had the mushroom gnocchi topped with halibut - creative and well executed. A great dinner with impeccable service!

We had excellent and attentive service. The decor and the ambience are both top notch. The fact that the restaurant provides free (and delicious) focaccia at the outset is a real treat--hardly any places offer any kind of bread gratis anymore. The food was good, but a bit heavy (and, in a few instances, a little over salted). It might have been a function of what we ordered, but two of our dishes relied on goat cheese, making our seem somewhat the same. That said, our dining partners loved their food. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

The owner, Rob was most accommodating and friendly and got us settled into a great meal. Obviously, the regulars coming into the restaurant were very fond of it, and we felt "privileged" to be there. I would highly recommend it, but I would get there before 8 o'clock because it does get quite busy. We went at six on a Tuesday night and had most of the restaurant to ourselves, and it was quiet. When it started to get full, the noise level increased somewhat dramatically. My only small criticism was that it took a while to get our check. That being said, I do want to go back!

It is our favourite restaurant by far!! Robbie Prette is an absolutely fantastic chef and host. The menu is creative and extensive with something for everyone. Last night we had pan seared halibut with gluten free gnocchi and truffles...it was to die for! He makes you feel like family and treats you like royalty! The food is fantastic, the ambience is cozy and romantic, and you feel so loved the entire time you're there! Thank you Robbie for another fun and wonderful evening. 🥰

In a big fan of Robbie Prete, the owner. His restaurants are always very entertaining with above average food. But between when he opens Domaine Mamo and now, the food has gone from above average to fantastic. While a little pricey, it's well worth it because the overall experience is brilliant. If you haven't already been, you should put it on your bucket list of culinary experiences in Toronto. It's become simply a "wow" restaurant.
