Delicious, juicy, tender chicken! Reminds me of back home! The sides were amazing as well, very soft potatoes, sweet potato, avocado tomatillo sauce and slaw. I was very happy with my dinner!

Picked up my first order from Don Pollo via Uber eats. I can't even begin to describe how good the food is. I had the double leg dinner, comes with potatoes, coleslaw and some pickled veggies. The chicken is so fresh and delicious. I also got the shrimp ceviche, which was out of this world delicious. Excellent restaurant. Not to mention it looks super cool inside.

Got the half chicken combo - chicken is flavorful and juicy. I ate the breast piece and that was succulent. Pairs well with the slaw and the pickled veggies. Also got the shrimps in butter and a side of charred pineapples (spicy!) - don’t sleep on that. It’s definitely more expensive than your regular grilled chicken take out, but you can taste the higher quality.

Got take out from here and was shocked at how good everything was. I expected it to be good but not THAT good. Wow. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Chicken and potatoes were excellent, chips and guac were some of the best I’ve ever had.

The best chicken I've had in Toronto–and probably anywhere else. The flavour and quality of meat can't be beat. The sides–especially the potatoes and slaw–are also delicious, as was the bread pudding. I made the mistake of giving some leftover chicken to my dog earlier this evening and now she won't leave me alone. Seriously, she's staring at me as I write this review, her mouth drooling all over the couch. I speak for both of us when I say we can't wait to order from here again!

One of the better chicken+potato i have had for sure! A bit more expansive than usual but absolutely worth the price. Make sure you get the hot sauce + peanut sauce + pineapple with your order as it really completes the flavour profile!
Ordered takeout, whole chicken dinner was a good value and was delish! The guac and fresh chips was also a treat.

This is a new restaurant to deal with the pandemic restrictions. It belongs to Quetzal restaurant (fine dining restaurant) that is best with indoor dining. However with the current health restrictions, they opened "Don Pollo" to serve meals tailored for takeout or sitting on one of two tables on the sidewalk.It recently opened on 2020-07-11. The name is an homage to the Mexican street vendors who serve fried chicken. "Don Pollo" serves slow-fire chicken but the menu is designed for quick serve.The chicken is good but it is on the expensive side.There is no free WiFi.
