I recently dined at Donna Fernanda in Toronto, and I can't recommend it enough! The food was exceptional, bursting with flavors that truly celebrate Italian cuisine. The ambiance was warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy dinner or a special celebration. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly, making our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic dining destination that I can't wait to return to!

I took my sister here for happy hour and left really disappointed. We arrived around 4 PM and ordered two Aperol Spritz to start. The server never mentioned that we needed to order bruschetta to qualify for the happy hour pricing. We actually wanted bruschetta but it never came, so we ended up ordering pizza instead.
Another couple came in after us, ordered drinks, and asked for bruschetta right away. They got it with no issue. When our bill came, we were charged full price for the first round and happy hour pricing for the second. When I asked why, the server said our first drinks didn’t count because we didn’t order bruschetta—something we were never told. Why should the customer be the one to remind the server to add bruschetta when ordering drinks during happy hour?
I’ve been coming here since they first opened and always loved the place, but this experience felt unfair and left a bad impression. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

We had a lunch reservation on a Saturday afternoon. The food was delicious and staff attentive. The bill was reasonable, under $100. We shared a bottle of sparkling water, an appetizer and each had a main.

The staffed stayed open for my family during Canadian thanksgiving Sunday... the food was incredible and reminded me of Rome. The staff was fantastic and friendly. I'll come back when I'm back in Toronto again... super yummy and just perfect.

I came here with my girlfriend and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very nice and everyone was friendly. I had the lasagna and it was one of the best I’ve had. My girlfriend had the gnocchi bolognese and both dishes had amazing tomato sauce that tasted fresh and homemade. Everything felt authentic and we would definitely come back.

What an Italian family restaurant should be. Simple dishes prepared with fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly. The homemade focaccia to start the meal? Outstanding! And wonderful, attentive service. Check this place out!

A great neighbourhood spot! We have a lot of food allergies in our group and they were so incredibly accommodating! The service was phenomenal, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The special, grilled sea bass, was the favourite at the table. Will definitely be back!
