We had a really lovely experience at Donna’s on Lansdowne. We arrived at 1:30 pm and ordered from their Valentine’s Day special menu, which was available until 3 pm. Even though it was quite busy, the atmosphere felt warm and interesting rather than overwhelming.
The beer was great, and I really liked the homey, charming tableware — small details that made the place feel cozy and thoughtful. At 1:48 pm we were served a raw fish dish as an appetizer, which was very interesting and fresh.
The steak was excellent, and the potatoes that came with it were honestly perfect. The salad was also top-tier. Dessert was just as good and finished the meal beautifully.
Overall, the restaurant was busy but in a vibrant, energetic way. We left very satisfied and would definitely come back.

The Sunday Roast at Donna's was incredible! It was my first time visiting this restaurant and I definitely plan to come again because the atmosphere, service and food quality was top-notch. I also really appreciated that they accommodated my allergies on the fly by serving me alternate appetizers. Two thumbs up!

Everyone working here is very kind and friendly. The couple at the table next to me seems to come here every weekend; before leaving, they hugged the waitstaff goodbye. Being in a place like this felt really nice.

We love it here. The service is always excellent. The menu changes regularly so it's often, but not always a home run. I would stick to the favourites: the salad, the carpaccio, the miss vickies appetizer and have one or two of the mains. We tried the potato dumplings and cod this time around and it was good but we weren't blown away.

need to come back again for dinner since lunch didnt blow my mind like i hoped it would. this place is a neighborhood gem and everyone always tells me to come here. it’s so cute inside and the service is fast and friendly. the shrimp sandwich totally slaps, but the other few we tried had too much dijon it was overwhelming. oysters are ok. prices are really good.
