Great great great donuts so fresh early am

This looks like a dive. 8am on a Saturday, interesting characters about.
The guy behind the counter with a look of utterly defeat on his face... yet...

This is a throwback to donut shops of the '80's and early 90's.

The great 24-hour shops that were all over the city before the franchises and boutique shops took over every street corner.

I had forgotten what those old shops were like.
Small, unpretentious a place to just sit down all night, drinking coffee with your friends, discussing life and the world.

The donuts here are the same.

Simple, unpretentious donuts for about a $1 each.

Still warm. Soft and doughy, with a glaze that enhances the flavors instead of drowning them out.

After so many years, I had forgotten what a good, simple donut is. They're about a $1 each which can be shocking as no one has $1 donuts anymore!

I would definitely recommend this place!

Old school mom and pop donut shop with great prices. Donuts are made fresh which is a rarity now and absolutely delicious!

Coffee amazing

Tye and his wife Mama. Are both lovely people. The coffee is great with convenient hours 6am-12am and location. Its nice to see regulars there. Tye makes the donuts fresh daily, I enjoy the odd sugar twist here and there. It's a family owned business and I love that.

Chocolate Dip - Nice yeast donut, very airy and springy, good fermentation and doesn't feel oily at all. The chocolate dip is not too sweet but has a distinct cocoa flavor and is slightly gooey.

Apple Fritter - good airy structure, occasional apple cube, raisins, sugar frosting, but in general it's really bland.

I have known Tí for along time he makes his donuts fresh everyday Mon-friday starts at 6am if you want fresh come after 7:30 , weekends he starts later around 9am, 38 years he's been at this location serving all customers who come in to his shop, its rare to find a donut shop that makes fresh not frozen and heated up in convection oven like over at tim hortons.

Probably the best strawberry filled donut I’ve ever had. Fresh, fluffy, flavorful. The owners and the folks who hang out here are all amazing humans. If you want to have some wonderful and affordable donuts and a good chit chat with locals this is your spot. Very old school in the best way possible.

Super old school little donut/coffee/lottery/convenience shop. The donuts are bomb! So much better than what you get at Tim’s and a massive chocolate long John for 2.00! Super friendly gentleman working! A little gem in leslieville
