The Irish shanty tunes that were going on when I was there Friday night were gone about in an uninterested blasé way. They didn't seem to really like what they were doing, would sing 2 or 3 songs, and then wait 10 minutes until they did anything else. I don't know what this was supposed to be all about, but it was certainly not the fun energized performance and sing-along that it could have been...Just very very boring. This is my favourite neighbourhood pub. Staple classics, and great service. The vibe of the rooms at the front always makes me think of “Peeky Blinders”. Back yard patio is a great place to escape and gather with friends. What really stand out about this place is the regular live music and dancing. The crowds are friendly and unpretentious.
