Yesterday was my birthday and I decided to get a takeout, I got the sushi set for 23$, I told them that I was expecting a big meal (at that price) and judging on the description. When I arrived home to eat it, I was shocked by the microscopic portions!! Also the quality of the ingredients was very low, soy sauce included. Not returning.

Double Sushi: Always Fine, Occasionally Great
Double Sushi is the kind of place you keep ordering from because it’s reliable—not amazing, not bad, just solid. Most nights, it’s good enough to hit the spot. Other nights, it’s just OK—not bad, just definitely decent.
And then, once in a while, they absolutely nail it. The sushi is fresh, the rolls are perfect, and you think, “This might be the best sushi in town.” -maybe it’s the fish shipment, or maybe it’s just luck. Who knows?
Still, at this price point, it’s worth the gamble. Double Sushi is dependable, and every now and then, it surprises you in the best way. Would I recommend it? Sure. You’re not going to hate it, and if you’re lucky, you might even love it.
I kept receiving an "error" message after submitting my order on their website's online ordering. They're responsive by telephone so I was able to place my order. Pick up was quick and easy.
The volcano roll was tasty. A bit better than expected. Soft shell crab was okay The ika taki (grilled squid) had a very nice flavour BUT wasn't properly cleaned: the internal shell was left inside and chopped up. Picking out the pieces (see photo) really took away from enjoying my food
I might go back if I'm in the area to try other menu items. The bentos look good.

I’ve been to a LOT of sushi places and this by far is my favourite spot in the city! Food is always fresh with the best ingredients! Quantities are excellent! The atmosphere is nice and the service is always top notch! Highly recommend! ?

The Golden Dragon Roll with added mango is a must-try, and their Unagi Don is fantastic. Prices are reasonable, and I've never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: A nice variety of vege options. I often go here with my vegetarian friend and she loves the vege sushi pizza, the yam sushi and she often gets the tofu bento box.
Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had in Canada! This place is a MUST go if you love sushi. I’ve been here couple of times and their sushi is always fresh with the simplest but the best flavours! Their prices are very reasonable and they’re very clean and courteous. A 10/10 for everything! Thank youuu❤️✨
