I’ve been a regular at this bar and always appreciated the great management and especially the amazing Brazilian girl on the night staff — she’s a star. But I had a really disappointing experience recently during a Monday afternoon visit with a server named Paola. When the weather got hot, I was served a warm beer. I politely asked to exchange it, but Rosa was extremely rude. She refused to listen, walked away, and even told me I had no right to ask for a colder beer. It wasn’t about bar policy — it was about basic respect and customer service. I’ve never been treated like that here before, and it was really upsetting.
The bill was over $100, switching the beer and please the customer goes a long way, being rude just makes life and service harder, I was planning on staying for at least a couple more hours. Sad service for a great place.

Skip here’s slow and rude servers was a massive attitude problem, food was awful, burger was ridiculously thin for $20… Place is small and filthy as well last time they cleaned feels like it was in the 50’s… So may better cleaner options all around, enjoy one of those instead.
Great place, great staff. What more can you ask for? My complements to the chef!

Amazing food with good price! Good house beer. The barman is super cool and created the drinks we ordered perfectly. Staff is amazing, and music is on point. Super recommend!!

Good with special requests, great tasting burger but the fries were tough as nails. Not soft and on the beefier side as the other review photos would appear to suggest.

I'm really upset with this bar. It used to be amazing, The food the last 3 times has been God Awful .... I'm gonna leave my old post up..... just to show the way it used to be. And the bartender even told me before he charged me 44 dollars that they had an issue before me..... They should not have gotten rid of the staff they had before.. Just odd how fast it changed.......Love catching them on wing and fish and chip night, Can't complain about anything I've had there.. Really nice place. I just have a feeling some people have run out on their bill there. But the food is great, I will say this tavern is definitely worth a visit, you will wanna keep going back.

Damn… I’ve just returned for the first time since 2023 and it was terrible. A shame because for a while it seemed like the service and food was getting better… Tonight, the service was the worst it’s ever been. Took over 15 minutes to be offered a drink. Had to ask for a food menu. Waited ages to get one. Then didn’t see my server for another 25+ minutes…. And when she came by she just asked “you guys okay?” …..with both mine and my friend’s glasses empty on the table, and clearly having said I wanted to order food earlier………..
Also there was a man screaming very aggressively on the phone behind the bar…. And then he just sat down at the bar and had a beer? — if he works here then he should’ve helped the staff who are so clearly struggling to serve their barely half-full restaurant, rather than scream and holler on the phone….
Very bizarre as it was not even as crazy busy as it’s been in the past with much better service.
Food was ok but I’ll be avoiding this iconic spot going forward…..
It’s not too noisy, but not too quiet. nostalgic atmosphere. I felt super comfortable.

Great food and service. Friendly staff, I go there with my commander pod to play MTG and they don't kick us out so that's a huge win! The Nachos are sooooo good

This is a great place to go if you're looking for a pub style bar in the front, a live band downstairs, or to shoot some pool upstairs. Prices/selection for drinks are really good. I will be back for sure.
