I like Duffys for drinks. Staff is friendly. However, last night, a staff member aggressively demanded $15 for the pool game myself and my date played, even after the bartender said we didn't need to pay. We only spent 15 minutes at the table and around $80 on drinks in half an hour, making this feel quite misleading/deceptive. I would have rathered stayed and spent more money on alcohol, but this experience turned me off and we left to the next bar.
Nice waiters. Horrible burgers. 3 of us had burgers and none of us liked them. Fries were good. Caesar salad was good. Even the juice tasted weird, maybe it was the ice. Chicken wings were tiny. Never want to eat here again. So many better food options in the area.
One of the only classic “Taverns “” left in the city , great value pub with a solid “” fan favorite”” menu design .. 4.99 pints daily !! Wing specials when no one is doing wing specials , great upper deck redesigned pool table area , live music , great tunes , awesome service ! And it’s only been open for 75 years .!!!! Check it out !!!
