I’ve been going to this dumpling house for years, they’ve recently had a glow up (not sure if it’s a new owner or something else) but these dumplings 10/10.
If they were good before they’re FANTASTIC now. Juicier than before and packed with flavour. I take one bite and my mouth is coated in meaty deliciousness 😍

I stumbled onto this place while looking for a place to eat in the area. I love dumplings and this place did not disappoint. I was able to get 12 dumplings and not 10 which some places give you. It is not always about the price but the number you get in one order and the quality of the dumplings.
First off, I ordered the fried pork and cabbage dumplings. These were very tasty and having access to soy sauce, vinegar and chilli oil on the table was a nice offering.
The filling could have used a better balance between the pork and cabbage. More pork than cabbage was inside. I would prefer anywhere from 30 - 50% cabbage but these seemed to be around maybe 10% cabbage. The increase in cabbage would make the filling much larger without a significant cost in production.
They do have a good variety of dumplings but also a good selection of your typical Chinese dishes too.
Certainly worth going back out their other offerings.

**updated after owner responded** After six months, I finally got an answer. First, I want to take back the 1 start for the fried rice. I remember it being very nice, fragrant. Secondly, I have a dog. I love dogs. I never bring it in restaurants. Because it's against the law. Breaking one law can easily mean that you are relaxed on others. As for the rest, I don't really care. It's just that comparing this restaurant to others, I would choose another one if those dishes we got were how they were normally served. I appreciate the owner being respectful to other's options, so I rose my rating from two to 3 stars. Have a nice new year.
Owners do not regulate health and safety. They let dog owners in, when I was there this guy with a pitbull kept coming in and out. The food was nothing exceptional. More quantity over quality. Maybe try the domain as those are fresh. The beef soup was not represented by the price it was. The beef seemed canned, there was a ton of noodles and there was 1 bokchoy cut in 4. The fried rice was 1 star. The only thing giving it the 1 star is that it had that minimum of a taste of fried rice.
Green beans were okay but not crispy like they should be at a good Chinese restaurant. Wasn't a lot of pork either. Dumplings were tasteless. Alas, the search continues.
Also, the atmosphere of this place is gross. Seats are dirty and need to be cleaned and repaired.

This place does not disappoint! The dumplings were so good! Got the green beans and refreshing Cucumber salad for the sides. Wonderful staff, and feels homey and authentic. Definitely an East end Favorite!

That was incredible. I got the pork wonton and I was happy to see the mindful handmaking process of the dumplings. Clean washrooms. I will keep coming here whenever I pay riverdale park a visit

i LOVE this place i LOVE IT!!!!!!! the soup dumplings are my favourite and they’re so good and yummy. the ladies who work there are basically like my aunts they are so sweet i love them. atmosphere is a four because sometimes overly loud customers come in and disrupt the environment but other than that everything is awesome and it’s my favourite place for me and my mom to get dumplings.
