As someone who grew up in the 90s, I've been nostalgic by craving the cheesy, greasy slices I would eat from Pizza Hut and wondered where I could relive that experience.
After some searching, I came across this location, which satisfied my craving for that perfect, classic type of pizza I wanted, so my Inner Child was thrilled to find that familiar piece of comfort in this dark, crazy world.
On top of that, not only are the portion sizes and toppings very generous, especially at a time of increasing shrinkflation/inflation, but they're also really affordable.
Like a blast from the past, the old-school look/vibe makes the experience even better with relaxing ethnic music, along with the friendly owner, who likes to chat and tell a cute story about how he gets mistaken for being much younger than he really is.
Please support this independent pizza shop that has been in business for a very impressive 30 years. We're lucky that Mom-and-Pop shops like this still exist, although they are becoming more rare, unfortunately. Thank you for helping me relive one of the most cherished parts of my childhood.

Dundas Pizza has been feeding hungry mouths for over 30 years now.
Nothing fancy, but just simple perfect pizza!
The way the universe intended!
The crust, the sauce, the pepperoni, the olives and I love the way they actually use thick cut tomato slices.
The crust is soft, chewy and has that perfect crunch that makes ever bite perfect.
The sauce is homemade. The cheese nice and gooey! And the prices are so affordable!
So if you're in the neighbourhood and looking for that perfect slice then look no further because you have arrived my friends!
Hurry up and get a slice or a whole pie and enjoy!

5 stars on all front. The service comes from a sweet independent shop owner who is clearly passionate about the food he makes. The atmosphere is kitschy, but not at all dirty. It rejects modernism and maintains the durable wood chairs and classic checkerboard aesthetic. The looks brought me in, and the food had me coming back at least once a week for years now. The pizza dough is soft inside with a crisp on the outside. Reminiscent of focaccia, but truly in a league of its own. The fried chicken hits the spot as well, and you MUST try the in house hot sauce. It's spicy, but also sweet/tangy. I keep telling him to bottle it up and sell it because I have never tasted anything like it. Last but not least, fair pricing. Go to Dundas Pizza and you won't go wrong.
