5 stars on all front. The service comes from a sweet independent shop owner who is clearly passionate about the food he makes. The atmosphere is kitschy, but not at all dirty. It rejects modernism and maintains the durable wood chairs and classic checkerboard aesthetic. The looks brought me in, and the food had me coming back at least once a week for years now. The pizza dough is soft inside with a crisp on the outside. Reminiscent of focaccia, but truly in a league of its own....
Review is based on only one item: the Donaire. I may not have had a Donaire from the east coast but the one made at Dundas Pizza is pretty dang delicious. There is something magically about the sauce used for it!
Sure, has the shop been closed more times than I have been in? Yes. Is the owner to out of touch on modern marketing? Likely. That's why knock one off star but every time I have been in to pick up a Donaire, I am always satisfied.

Very nice place. The gentlemen that runs it is always working so hard. The wings are very tasty. I also ordered the fried chicken and enjoyed it. Please try it, we need more neighborhood places like this
