Cora, our server was lovely and attentive to what we needed that evening including having been a time limit. The food was outstanding - particularly because it was elevated vegan food - difficult to get given that Bardo would not be considered "fine dining" so that it was a perfect example of what every restaurant should be doing. We are sad to see the James street location closing but completely understand the reasons. We will join them over on Locke!

This was my second time at Bardō on James for brunch. Today we were treating my hubby to a birthday brunch. He enjoyed the food choices and flavours, and he's pretty particular, so I was more than pleased. The service was prompt and pleasant. We'd return for sure.

Bardo never disappoints. Great and healthy food, outstanding service and atmosphere. All that for a great price. They also offer wine from the local Ontario wineries which I think tells a lot. Highly recommended.

Came by for lunch today & am reminded how awesome this spot is :) Our server Michael was top-notch. Really attentive, but not in an intrusive way. He was on top of what we needed, timed the food/apps perfectly well.

Between our group we had the hummus (AMAZING, ask for it with Pita instead of the bread it comes with, you will thank me later), Bahn Mi Sandwich, Chicken Avocado Sandwich, and the Quinoa Salad with Salmon. Everything was PERFECT.

Friendly service, amazing pizza. I had the Carolina Gold - a medium heat level for me (a non-spicy/heat person) and deliciously tangy sauce. He had the Big Kahuna - less heat than mine, grilled pineapples are the best (although made the center a little wet - all good, just switched to knife and fork). Will be back again and again!
We were there for a business meeting, loved the service and vibes, and the cherry ? beer was fantastic. For oysters, I would love couple more a accessories as Cilantro and cucumber salsa, perhaps some Tabasco would have been great. Other than that, the beer was cold, and smiles from the staff were also there. ILL BE BACK WITH ALL MY STAFF SOON ENOUGH. THANKS, Richard Katerenchuk

My first time there warrants a second visit. My server Michael was very attentive and made sure I had all I needed. He even made me honey mustard sauce when they didn't have it in stock. The food was tasty and filling. I liked the variety and affordability of the menu. I was there during the busy lunch hour but it wasn't too noisy or felt crowded.

Three of us shared a large Margarita Pizza. I would say it was the best Margarita Pizza I've ever had. Delicious. More than enough for 3 people. We also shared the Kale Caesar Salad - also delicious. Good value for the money and good quality food. This is my second time eating here and I would definitely return.

Yet another truly memorable experience. This restaurant truly knows the definition of hospitality. I was treated like a long-lost friend, greeted warmly and sincerely. The restaurant was incredibly busy with a very large party and yet I was made to feel completely at home. Kyle is a real customer service professional. After a long week it felt amazing to sit down to a delicious plate of fish and chips where every element on the plate was superlative, a fantastic mixed-berry pie that made me practically want to lick the plate, (thanks, Cam, for the recommendation) and a perfectly chilled and matched Niagara white wine. I forgot about all the problems of the past week and felt like my faith in humanity was restored after dining here. Eagerly looking forward to returning!
