Our family of four had an amazing dinner. It was our first time and we will definitely return. The wine and food recommendations were spot on. Food presentation, service and taste were exceptional. Thank you Ian, service and kitchen staff for a memorable dinner. See you again in the near future.

This restaurant was fantastic! No really complaints about the actual atmosphere or food. Maybe I'm just not used to fancy restaurants felt a bit overpriced for the food I received. However the food was great! Service was absolutely fantastic. The place was a little too crowded and close together for my liking but definitely isn't a down side for most people, it's very cozy.

Our group went to East End Vine, eyes wide open, knowing full well the nature of the tapas theme of the restaurant.
The food was delicious and lived up to the better reviews of the place. Stand outs for us were the scallops dish for it's warm silky texture and it's complimentary garnish, and the gnocchi, rolled lightly in a garlicy cheese sauce. Crispy brussel sprouts were nice as well. Everything, really, was tasty.
The serving sizes for most of the offerings were designed to be shared between two.
My issue with our dining experience was not the size of these charming little meals, but our hosts reticence to over serve our table of four. Most of the offerings were not intended for four. Despite our repeated queries regarding size, and acknowledging the caveat printed on the menu, we seemed unable to get our point across. We wanted a bit more food. And we're willing to pay.
We tried.
Twice we orderrd two of something and sadly recieved just one. I wondered briefly if the kitchen was rationing. At one point we sat without food, wine or a menu for perhaps 15 minutes. We ended up sharing, perhaps, seven items between the four of us over roughly 2 hours Alas, not enough. We tried. The server seemed determined to keep us wanting more. She was very busy.
The wine list was kind of bespoke but something for most tastes.Nothing overwhelming or robust this night, but we were told it was ever changing. Perfect for the lite fare served here. I thought the price for both glass and bottle to be fair.

So, if you are planning to enjoy this place some evening, remember to speak clearly and trust your instincts. If in doubt double up on tapas.

Truly a hidden gem in Toronto. The food tastes like the chefs WANT to make it, and the service feels laid-back and natural. A fantastic experience every time! Plates are around $10-15 each. I usually get 4-5 (to share) every time I go. Always under $100 with a 20% tip. Would be over if we bought alcohol.

Great food and service. Sat on the patio and enjoyed some wine and a few sharing plates, including the octopus, twice-baked potatoes, Brussel sprouts, corn ribs.

Loved they are dog friendly, too!

BBPJ FUN!

We had a great time at East End Vine! The service was excellent—they helped us pick a fantastic red wine (Vallado) that we all loved. Every meal we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We enjoyed everything so much that we finished every last bite. Try the deep-fried Brussels and shrimp!
