Not a tone of gluten free options but the corned beef hash with egg was really good. Worth it for brunch. Took a while to get our drinks, we actually got them after our food. But everything was good

We had our wedding at Eastside Social. Our entire family was blown away by the food, service, and overall experience at ESS. The staff were exceptional, being attentive to everyone and were very accommodating to every guest. The food was sensational, where we ever had out of town guests wanting to come back. We could not have asked for a more perfect evening. Thank you to Joey and team for everything.

Leslievillains should avoid this restaurant. I think the owners, Joey Skein & Cherie Stinson, are bad neighbours and were raised wrong. They used a dead woman's face & name in their lawsuit against a health centre. Feel whatever you want about the health centre but to use a victim like that is lowlife behaviour. I haven't seen them contribute to the neighbourhood at events and things like that over the years; they only seem to take from the neighbourhood. I have to add that a Howie Mandel lookalike hid in their restaurant & robbed them after it closed but there's no crusade against well dressed baldies. Again Joey and Cherie don't belong in the neighbourhood. They're just horrible human beings.

I asked whatt the salmon in specialty mushrooms and sauce entree was accompanied by and I was told asparagus, which was good, but then was later told they didn’t have enough asparagus. I saw they had green beans on the menu elsewhere so I just asked for hot green beans. I was then told there were not enough in the kitchen to offer me. They said they had a sort of bitter broccoli, but because I just had dental surgery I said my dentist told me not to have broccoli. They had absolutely no hot greens to offer other than that one green I could not eat. Very strange for a restaurant of this size.
In the end I asked for a little if the cold green salad as presented with other entrees to have any nutrition with my dinner that the server told me was supposed to come with asparagus. My dinner arrived as a small side salad plated separately from a piece of salmon with nothing but sauce despite the description of the entrée on the menu including exotic mushrooms, a much more expensive version of a salad with added salmon. To his credit the owner came by to try and make things better. Sally the best he would do was offer the salmon in mushrooms with a side cold green bean salad with bitter greens in a vinaigrette dressing I had already told the server I didn’t want-too bitter. . He said he would not charge me for that bean salad that I didn’t even wan,t or the inexpensive glass of wine he offered. Nice, but after such a lousy experience that made me want to just leave, and ending in a meal not described to me in the first place, my entire meal should’ve been comped. The salmon, however, was perfectly cooked in a tasty sauce.

Ate here earlier this summer. Delicious tuna tartar and fish & chips. Cool atmosphere. Would go again if in Leslieville.

First time patrons - soon to return for more. The owners were very kind and the service was great! Yummy food too - we ordered the Salmon Benny’s and the smash burger. ?
Vegetarian options: They’ll substitute for GF options too.

We were a party of 3 and shared a dozen oysters and the Burrata. Both were delicious and I highly recommend them.
The only issue is they give you 3 pieces of bread which isn't enough. The waitress did offer if we wanted more bread at the start for $4, but that extra bread should always be included.
Had the streak frites for dinner which was perfect.
Their Dill on Dill drink was wonderful and was better than their recommended drink of the evening. We ordered 4 of those drinks and each were made perfectly.

Not bad, but a bit overpriced for what you are getting. You can get a better brunch for less money.
