Busy place, but was left a little disappointed. If seated by the front of the bar be prepared to have dinner guests crowding your space as they arrive. Food was only okay. Found it to be too bland. As for service, they were clearly pushing us to move on and seat the next guests the moment we finished the last bite.

Enjoyed a Saturday night dinner and everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was on point. Server was engaging & friendly and the food (Calamari, Oysters, Beet Salad & Steak Frites) was A+.
Calamari, steak and fries were quite salty. I like it but you may want to ask for less salt if that’s not your thing.

A low-key neighbourhood spot that’s well made and true to Leslieville. Unpretentious, cozy, and all about great comfort food. The burger was excellent, double patties on a soft sesame bun with just the right amount of condiments. The fries were some of the best we’ve had in a while, definitely double-fried. The steak came out perfectly cooked. Highly recommend popping in.

This past summer (Aug 2025) we worked with Eastside to plan a 50th birthday. It was an impecable experience - from the planning process to the event itself - every detail was perfect. We still have friends talking about how amazing the food was, how the 'vibe' was just right and the staff were skilled, thoughtful and kind. The idea to host the party at eastside came from a night out where i swear i had the best steak frites in my recent memory.
All this to say - we highly recommend this spot - for a drink, dinner, garnering with friends - whatever the occasion is. Truly a gem in Toronto's east end.

Visiting from Winnipeg and decided to check this place out, such a cute little place and close to our air bnb. Waitress Carrie was very friendly and gave great suggestions. Ordered the Steak Frites, linguini and fish and chips... Unreal quality of food, compliments to the chef, every bite was amazing! Cocktails were also awesome. Will definetly be back again :) thank you
