While the service was very good and the atmosphere was pleasant, the dinner was some of the worst food I have ever had anywhere. The first dish I ordered was nothing to rave about- grilled chicken/vegetable skewer, with a side of house salad. The couple bites I had were very average. Unfortunately, I soon realized that most of the chicken pieces were undercooked and bleeding. The server was very kind and offered to replace the meal. The quickest thing he recommended was a veal/noodle stew (as our party had received their dishes and I would have to wait 20 minutes for any other dish). It was absolutely disgusting. There was barely any meat in it and the flavour was horrible. I had a couple bites of it and could not finish the rest. The mind boggling part was that the restaurant was pretty much empty, so I don’t understand why I would have to wait 20 minutes for a dish (as I would have probably preferred something else). The prices for these dishes were also too high. The marketplace at Eataly is wonderful and I would go back for this, but absolutely never to any restaurant there. With an abundance of amazing Italian restaurants in the city, Eataly is easily at the very bottom of that list for me.

Always great time at easily. They have a fixed lunch/brunch menu which we love. Initially ordered a main dish that was too spicy, and our waitress took it back and exchanged it for somethong else that was better for me. Great customer service, good food and nice vibes 👌

Was at the panini shop. Staff was super helpful and recommended a great custom built porcetta sandwich. It was so tasty!

Had 2 deserts, slice of pizza that were tasteless.
Coffee was good though.
Nice atmosphere, impressive establishment but there are better restaurants around.
They should learn to cook from Vincenzo’s in Waterloo where the food is amazing.
Very disappointing

The service was prompt and courteous, but the dining experience was disappointing and robotic. I ordered the spaghetti with arrabbiata sauce, but the pasta was undercooked, and the sauce was excessively spicy. I felt rushed at the end of my meal; the server presented the bill and Interac machine while I was still reading and I wanted to settle by cash. When paying with a $100 bill, I was also asked if I needed my change for the $60 bill. This created an awkward and unprofessional moment.

I’ve loved every pizza slice I’ve tried at Eataly, but this burrata pizza was something special! So special I had to pull out my sketchbook after eating it. The dough was perfection, the ingredients tasted so fresh, and that creamy burrata on top… 🤤

Sadly, I haven’t spotted this exact version lately. Looks like Eataly now serves it with the cheese already melted in for easier eating. But I still dream about the original, whole burrata moment 🧀

In the search for a perfect traditional Italian coffee in Toronto, one would be amiss if they didn't eventually end up at Eataly at Bloor and Bay. Coffee is available at many of the restaurants and kiosks in the store, but I chose to have mine at the Cafe Vergnano with the amazing selection of pastries to go with it.

The Electra espresso machine is a piece of art and worth a visit to the café just to admire it. There are three espresso blends on offer, but on this occasion, I chose the original 1882 blend for my Cortado.

My Cortana was lovely. It was the perfect proportion of steamed milk with espresso and served in a very retro coffee cup. Although I understand why some people find this particular coffee blend style to have a slightly burnt flavour and perhaps taste a tad industrial and mass produce, to me this is the Italian coffee which I adore. It is rich, dark chocolatey, and immediately gives you that boost of energy you're looking for.

I definitely will come back to Eataly to try tge other two espresso blends on offer and stroll the aisles of beautiful Italian grocery items and select dishware for sale . A very inexpensive way to get that small hit of Italy everyone needs

Really slow and bad service - took 3 hours for our groups lunch experience. Food was cold and flavourless. Very over priced and underwhelming.

The Eataly Bloor Street location used to be my favourite spot for quality food and treats but it has been sometime that the food quality including the pizzas in the restaurant, treats like Bombolini and ice cream has got worse most probably due to changing the cooks and staff since it used yo be more Italians working at the branch but nowadays you don’t see them around, they have expanded their branches footprint around the city but were unable to maintain their food quality like before, they should go back to their early days quality else they will lose their customer base.
