Old customer (PRE-COVID), thought we would revisit for takenout.
Chicken Teryaki was "boring/very plain" and dry.
Sushi was pretty low quality and the offering (Popular Platter). Same for the few appetizers that were ordered.
Limited fish selection and for what was provided and all presented as pale and "tired".

Would not recommend and will not go back, sad because the previous quality was fresh and tasty.

I ordered some sashimi and a roll to go, I’ve had sushi from here before and it was great even the order I got was great food what I wasn’t impressed with was getting the wrong order. I called immediately once I got home and opened my bag to see that I have salmon sashimi instead of the tuna I asked for. When I called the restaurant the woman that had taken my order and the phone and was quite rude when I informed her that I got the wrong order instead of an apology it came off like she was trying to gas light me into thinking I ordered salmon when I specifically asked for tuna.(I don’t eat Salmon)…. Then goes on to say she can add a credit to my account because they can’t replace my order due to the chef already leaving. I didn’t take the credit because I don’t intend on ordering from here or having any of friends/neighbours order from here anymore. Customer service is incredibly important to small businesses but it seems to be a dying trait in the hospitality business. Apologies go a long way especially when they’re warranted.

Came here for dinner, spent about 200 bucks. The food is good, but one thing that makes me really upset is they are very cheap with their portions while already charging so much!We ordered the Sakura sashimi platter and the fish was sliced so thin.... The platter is $67 and they can't even given decent sized slices...talk about shrink-flation.

Ordered our food at 5:45, we inquired further at 6:30 because it became evident they forgot about us. We eventually left at 7:20 without our food.I have no doubt they make decent food but they very clearly prioritize take-out orders. So unless you have well over 2+ hours to spare or are getting it delivered, I would advise against it.Context: we were the only people in the restaurant the first hour. And we all ordered fairly basic dishes.

What's awful is the way the owner and his sons treat their staff membersThe snobby customers abusing the staff when they don't get their order right away is also beyond disgusting. Cockroachs in the kitchen don't help either
