Stopped by Ed’s Real Scoop and was blown away by how good the gelato was. I had the crème brûlée and burnt marshmallow flavors in a waffle cone — both were rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The waffle cone itself was warm, fresh, and had the perfect crunch.
Amazing ice cream! Mango sorbet tastes just like the fresh fruit, difficult to tell the difference. Freshly made waffle cones are a must have treat. All locals recommend this place, and it's for a good reason!
Feel like Gelato? They got you!
The ice cream is very high quality, delicious and tasty.
They have good variety of flavors and they make their Waffle Cones fresh in store.
Portions are very generous; I got the Kiddie one and it was enough for me!
Staff are very nice and friendly.
Try them out!
Ice cream = ok, not much to rave about in depth of flavour. Waffle cones = a bit of a dampener when it’s post-dinner time on a Saturday night and they don’t have waffle cones (even though they have two waffle makers in the doorway…and are supposedly known for them). All round = ok, but didn’t really bring joy…which is kinda the point of eating ice cream, it’s meant to be joyous.
I love Ed’s!! All of the flavours are insanely good and I especially recommend the mango and raspberry sorbets!
My favs, Crème Brûlée and Rum & Raisin.
Our regular ice cream fix 🍦
Worth the long drive, delicious!!! Great staff!
The ice cream is so good. It's really special to have it on a homemade waffle cone too!
This place has the best sorbets. The burnt marshmallow is very popular. I think it’s amazing. But it’d still rate their Mango sorbet and raspberry sorbets just as good. If we have membership, on every 9 pints, we get a 10th pint free. I’m hooked.
Service is fast, but customer experience could be improved. Some staff are better than others.
Kid-friendliness: They have kid size options.
Wheelchair accessibility: Narrow stairs lead into the shop. So not wheelchair accessible.

Great flavors and high quality icecream. This is what ice cream should taste like. Always busy in the summer months, so expect lineups. If you're into skates, they're amazing here, too.

Amazing ice cream. Not the best service. The guy working today left us standing there while he chatted with his co-worker. (Beaches location)
It wasn’t a nice feeling standing there while he ignored us. It was weird. We almost walked out.

A long line up at all weekends afternoon, generous portion, there is not a need for upsizing or upgrade. The gelato was not too sweet, the lemon biscotti was excellent, espresso gelato could be a bit more coffee taste. Friendly and focused staff, I had great experience. Wait was 15 minutes.

Burnt Marshmallow from this store is on the list of the 100 Most Iconic Ice Creams in the world. This store is on our summer bucket list. We came here after visiting R. C. Harris Water Treatment Plant.
I had one regular size of ice cream with Burnt Marshmallow and French Mint flavour in waffle cone. 2 flavours can be chosen in any size. Burnt Marshallow flavour is a must-try. When you almost finished, you would find a small marshmallow in the bottom of the cone!
Though there were a few people lining before us, it did not take long to complete the order.
