Anytime I used to be in the neighbourhood I would make an effort to stop there cause the food was great! Simple menu that tasted good. Great for breakfast. Last couple of times the food has been not good. This time o had to write a review cause they need to go back to their old ways. I went in and ordered a super 9 breakfast. It came with bacon, sausage, eggs, has browns and pancakes. The eggs were ok. The bacon was so hard, I like crispy bacon but when it’s dusty because it’s almost charred it’s not good. Also, the pancakes were underdone, there was still batter in them. The service was great though, but come on, it’s simple food and should be almost impossible to mess it up. The place was busy but that’s not really an excuse.

New Sunrise Grill is an absolute hidden gem! The food quality is exceptional, everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. From the perfectly cooked eggs and crispy potatoes to the rich and creamy hollandaise and sweet pancakes, every dish was a hit !
Despite our big party of 6+ people the service was prompt and friendly, making the experience even better and the amazing staff kept checking in on us to make sure everything was up to standard. Our food came out quickly, fresh and exactly as ordered, and the staff made us feel right at home.
The cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to start your morning or enjoy a relaxed brunch. You can really tell this place takes pride in both their food and their service.

Man I love this place, a go to when you just need breakfast! Getting harder and harder to find a place like this in Toronto, the food warms my soul and the staff always leaves me with a smile!
I have tried almost all the omelets, and they were all delicious! The service and atmosphere are both nice and calm, but it gets quite loud in the last half hour when staff are preparing to close up the shop and the kitchen starts washing the dishes.
Very friendly staff. Price is reasonable for a downtown restaurant. I try to go there every weekend. You won't be disappointed by this place! 😀
