The food is amazing. The service is decent but I wouldn't consider it exceptional. The prices are great. The atmosphere isn't anything special.

We tried the chicken and waffles, the scrambled egg with beans and side of sourdough bread, the combo pancake, french toast and waffle. Everything was delicious. Quantity of food was good too. Definitely recommend trying out the place.

Hollandaise was watered down. Had to share condiments with the next table. The lady next to me ordered steak and eggs. The steak was terrible so she returned it and had it replaced with bacon. The owner argued with her that she had to pay the steak price and not the bacon. Stay away!

This location is a little busy, but doesn’t drop the bar for an Eggsmart shop.
The food was great and so was the service.
I will continue to recommend this chain to everyone who wants a good breakfast on a weekend.

Eggsmart has a broad menu with plenty of options beyond eggs and pancakes. Cozy diner vibe — nothing fancy, but comfortable and welcoming. I had the Beef Benedict: tasty and tender beef, though the sauce was a bit vinegary and the bread slightly soggy. Prices are very fair for the portion size. Service was great — our server kept the coffee cups full the whole time. Can get busy and a bit noisy, but overall a solid, centrally located breakfast spot.

Food was good but the customer service was terrible from start to finish. No greeting, no checking on customers table if food was good and up to their satisfaction. I had their bottomless coffee, they only refilled mine up when once when I was nearly finished. At the end, they never bothered to ask “how was your experience or food”. Zero, and they deserve zero tip.
The worst part, I’m a women and they dared to call me sir.
The staff should get some more customer service training.

Was about to take second bite of my breakfast when a cockroach fell from the ceiling, just missing my face by an inch and my plate, landed in between on edge of table and promtly disappeared crawling under the table. As I was telling the server it crawled on top of the table on the other side, he managed to swat it away and pretended like nothing happened. Then they actually charged me for the meal. They comped my coffee which the server seemed gracious enough to point out I never got to drink!

Bit rough'n' ready but breakfast choice was good, food was good, plentiful and well priced. Definitely a place to head is you want a quick egg brunch and don't mind a noisy/cramped style cafe.

Order 1 - Through Skip: 3 egg meal with ham.
I asked for the eggs to be made omelet style, but it was just fried. The divots had pools of water in them. The potatoes were just warmed up. No color to them. The toast I received (rye) were the tiny end pieces.
Order 2 - In person (take out): Ordered the same thing.
This time I asked for the eggs to be made over hard. They came out exactly the same way as the omelet style. Fortunately, they didn't have the divots filled with water. Potatoes were the same as well, no color to them. The toast (rye) were middle pieces though, larger slices.
I'm not sure if the cook(s) know how to cook eggs, which is disappointing for a place called Eggsmart. Maybe I was just unfortunate to get the same cook on those seperate days, but hopefully a bit more training goes into reading the chits and cooking to specifications. I was thinking of asking for poached eggs, but I feel they might come out fried, again. Lower the heat a bit on those pans, the eggs shouldn't come put with a crust on them. Be sure to reiterate how you want your eggs cooked, unless they're fried, because you'll probably get them fried. Makes me scared to think how an omelet would turn out.
As for the potatoes, prep them in the oven on a pan so they get some color, then finish them on the griddle when ordered. They looked so delicious on the menu, but disappointing on the plate.
Toast: if you're giving rye ends, maybe consider giving an extra slice or two. The two I got with delivery didn't even equal the size of one that I got from take out.
I ordered on two separate days and now I'm wishing I took pictures to show the eggs.
And before a fuss is made, I've worked 8-9 years as a breakfast cook, with 20+ years overall experience in the kitchen.
I dont have much interaction with the servers. I had one directing me to sit and bring me a menu, then a different one to take my order and bring it to me. Both individuals seemed pretty kind and professional.
Restaurant looked fairly clean from where I was sitting, near the entrance.
I was sad they no longer had the breakfast skillets anymore. I remember stopping here years ago and got one, it was pretty good. homestyle hashbrowns covered with scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon, and cheese. Maybe they weren't great sellers.
