This place was okay for food, but the staff seemed off. The place was not busy so the eye rolls from the host was not appreciated. I simply asked to sit further inside the restaurant instead of next to the door. When I ordered a fruit smoothie the waitress just seemed absolutely annoyed that I chose it. It was laughable. The food was decent and at least came to the table hot. The rest of the meal went smoothly.
Parking: Not much street parking. Look for a parking garage.
Good dining experience...went for breakfast, ordered Classic Eggs Benedict. Food tasted great & the eggs were served with a side of roasted/ fried potatoes which were really good. Only thing that I would've changed was the Hollandaise sauce. Nothing wrong with the one they made, but like to make my sauce just a tad bit sweet.I'd like to specially compliment them on their service again - the entire place was served by a sweet elderly lady & an energetic young lady. The elderly lady was particularly sweet & caring & kept asking at timely intervals if everything was alright, just like your granny would ask you to make sure you were eating well.Thank you.
Vegetarian options: Hardly any
The service was quick and friendly. The food is good homestyle cooking, good standard fare without the fancy gourmet presentation. Real ingredients prepared well served in symmetrical presentation.
Everything about this place is okay - the portions are okay, the prices are fine, and the service was decent. Nothing bad about this place but you could definitely do better. I wouldn’t rush to come here before another breakfast place you’d wanna try out.
Poor service, overpriced and cold food. Not bad Caesar. Overall for 70$ you can eat at better place.
This used to be one of my favourite brunch locations. I've been coming here for many many years, and I brought friends over the years too. Sadly, I don't think I'll be eating here again. The way we were treated by staff last time I visited was not nice. I don't know what the name of the waitress is, but she had pink hair. We arrived there early, so the restaurant was almost completely empty. The waitress treated us like she wasn't happy to have us there and as if she had other customers to attend. I don't really understand this, but perhaps she doesn't like big groups. For example she rushed us to order food, and when we asked for a couple minutes she said, "If another group arrives before you order, I'm going to serve them instead." I don't even know what that means...
I’ve been a regular customer for many years, but our last visit was very disappointing. My wife and I called the restaurant the day before our visit to inquire if they could accommodate 9 people for breakfast. The person who answered the phone said they certainly had a table for 9, and so we arrived early this morning. However, when we asked for a table for 9, the waitress at the entrance scoffed and led us to multiple separate tables. When we asked why we couldn't be seated at one table, she said it would block passage, even though there were combinable tables by the walls that were not being used. The waitress then rushed us to order quickly and said she’d have to serve other people instead if another big group arrived. We found this odd because the restaurant was almost completely empty. We chose to leave without ordering anything. We were disappointed with the service and attitude of the waitress, especially as they had assured us over the phone that they could accommodate 9 people without problems. We mentioned this as we left, but the waitress denied saying that and said that we were definitely wrong. Both my wife and I heard what was said on the phone, so it was surprising how they doubled down on misinforming us. We would have appreciated an apology or acknowledgement of the miscommunication, but none was offered. We normally enjoy eating at this restaurant, but this experience left a bad taste in our mouths. It's unfortunate that we were not given the opportunity to sit together, despite being assured of a table for 9 over the phone. We hope that the restaurant can improve their communication and customer service in the future.
Great service, clean bright and spacious location with lots of natural light. I enjoyed the 80s music mix. I'm split on the food; I had eggs florentine which came with fried potatoes. The potatoes were delicious, the english muffin and spinach were perfect but the hollandaise just tasted like mayonnaise. I guess that could be plus or minus depending on your taste. Coffee was quite good and I appreciated the 18% cream ;)
Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth floor and spacious. Centrally located accessible bathroom.
A terrible experience from start to finish and everything in between. Arrived at around 9:40 AM on a Saturday for breakfast with a friend. We were kept waiting for over five minutes, no acknowledgment, no nothing, even though someone working behind a bar area and several waitstaff obviously saw us but made no effort to make eye contact or even say "I'll be with you in a moment." Finally a rather grumpy waitress came over and said "Follow me." First we went one way, then another, and then she sat us to the table closest to the door on a cold morning even though there were plenty of other tables available. She slapped down menus, poured us water, and disappeared. Not even an offer of coffee or tea. Comes back around 5 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order. I had to remind her that we had not even been asked if we wanted coffee or tea. Placed our order and waited. And waited. And waited. Grumpy waitress came with coffee for my friend, tea for me, and then disappeared. The water for my tea was only lukewarm, but couldn't even get anyone's attention to flag it. Then we waited and waited and waited for food. Order finally came... served by another staff member. The eggs were cold. Pancakes underdone on the inside, overdone on the outside. Probably was left sitting around in the kitchen. Staff members disappeared again. I ate because I was so hungry, but once again, no one every came around and asked how anything was, if my friend wanted a coffee refill or if I needed more hot water for tea. Really, this place should not be permitted to exist. I don't care that they have salt in a grinder or fancy names for their dishes. Their staff is inattentive and unfriendly, and the food is not properly prepared. And cold eggs and lukewarm tea water are gross. And tell that grumpy waitress to crack and smile. No one goes out to eat to be made to feel uncomfortable and unwanted. You have competition in this city. You are lucky to survive the pandemic. Now please close. We don't need another mediocre breakfast/brunch place. Yuck and yuck.
It is really wonderful restaurant, I had brunch with my wife today. And the dishes are delicious and we are really like they. But it was too much to eat it out!

Heck Yes to breakfast here!! Eggscellant food choices and the most welcoming and enthusiastic server with his beautiful neat ponytail and Midwestern welcome! Great food and very Eggstra service! I would come back again w my family. What a hoot....
I usually try to come here when it is not to busy. The service is quick and the food is good for the price you are paying. I’ve come here quite a bit and I can honestly say you don’t have to wait long for staff to assist you with anything you need. It’s not open very long which might be seen as a downside for a Breakfast/Brunch place but this location is pretty good when it is not busy.
We have just arrived home. I spent my birthday there with friends. Breakfast was good quality. Our server was great. She was so caring and thoughtful. Everyone at our table absolutely loved her. I am so sorry that I forgot to ask her name.Overall it was a great experience. Totally recommend it
I’ve eaten there three times, and each meal was very good. The chicken club is the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere! The quality of the ingredients is evident in the freshness and flavour of their dishes. The staff are always friendly and Ashley Noble the manager, is particularly warm and inviting. Also, the coffee is excellent.
