I was disappointed with my buffalo chicken and waffles. Extremely smothered in sauce to the degree it was very overpowering. Rest of my table enjoyed their salmon Benny, steak and Canadian breakfast. It’s small and noisy so I think with the music it becomes too loud. No need for the music. You can’t hear it anyways.

First time visited this place - Ordered the Biscoff Lotus Pancake and the Crispy Chicken Benedict, and both dishes were absolutely delicious!
The Lotus Biscoff is a sweet treat with that perfect caramel flavor, which pairs so well with their fluffy pancakes. Crispy Chicken Benedict is exactly what you want in a savory brunch dish – crispy, juicy chicken with perfectly poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce.
Another great thing about Eggstatic is they have halal options. Portions are generous, and the staff are friendly and welcoming!

The restaurant has a quirky design. There is seating in and outside of the restaurant. I recommend sitting inside as it's getting quite cold. Seating is not very spacious in the restaurant and it is a bit tight. If you're seated against the wall, there is a sofa bench style type of seating which is comfortable; otherwise, you're sitting on a standard chair.
We made reservations (thankfully) because the restaurant was very busy. Upon entry for our 10:00 am reservation, we arrived at 9:52 am and was asked to come back at 10 because the only table available had seating for four guests and I had a party of three guests. The hostess pointed to another table where a couple were seated and said that once they were done, we can be seated there and that they shouldn't be very long until being finished. If they weren't finished by the time we came back, the hostess would seat us at the bigger table for four guests even though we were a party of three. Strange request, but it was fine. The hostess was polite when asking and very thankful for us to accommodate this request. Notably, the table where we were supposed to be placed at with the couple eating, it looked like they just started..
When we did return at 10:01 am, we were seated at the table for four (the one that was originally free). My partner and I were waiting for our friend to arrive as she was running a bit late. About 15 minutes in, we were asked to please swap tables for another one where the previous couple were sitting (coincidentally). We were told that once the next table beside them were finished, she would pull the two tables beside each other so we would technically sit four. We were asked if we could accommodate because another family of four came late to their reservation and seemed "frustrated". I don't really understand why we were early for our reservation, had to come back later to be seated, only to be re-located to another table, but were asked to accommodate this family because they late. My partner found this to be frustrating and I was not necessarily happy about this request myself.
When musical chairs was done being played out, my friend arrived and we ordered. We ordered the Chicken + Waffles and Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes with three teas on the side. Everything came in a fair amount of time and tasted wonderful. The service was fair, nothing wow. Waiters and waitresses were called a couple of times when we needed something. The overall experience was ok. The Chicken + Waffles had a nice middle eastern/Indian spice to it. I found this to be unique as I've never had anything like this before. It comes with buffalo sauce which is a bit spicy and maple syrup all on the side. Refills for tea are free, but you need to hold on to your existing teabag.
Unfortunately, I don't think anyone at my table will be returning to this establishment. There are other competitors that have a bigger dining area with good food as well. I understand that there seems to be a hype about this restaurant which is why we wanted to try it out, but in all honestly, it seems like just another brunch place. I wouldn't necessarily recommend to give this place a try, but I wouldn't deter it either. The food itself was actually really good. It's just the overall service and atmosphere that makes me hesitant to recommend.
Also, on a side note, there is only one bathroom and it's located in the basement of the restaurant. The steps are narrow and if you experience claustrophobia, the bathroom is small and tight. It is maintained which is good. The hot water function with the tap does not work, so you will be washing your hands in cold water. There is paid street parking. If you go at certain times of the day, parking will be free, but expect to parallel park.
Parking: The restaurant does not have a parking lot itself. There is paid street parking. If you go certain times of the day, the parking is f

We went there for brunch. I would say the food was too good but the reason I rated this place 4 is due to their service. We had glasses for water but nobody care of pouring water. We upfrontly asked once where the server went to get water but forgot and got busy with another guest. We waited for good 15min and then we told the lady server who was very apologetic and got the water immediately.
I guess the management should look into service part when you actually provide such a delicious taste as this part will bring your overall scores down.
I am assuming it was Saturday hence it was so busy and not manned properly to check tables not sure if the weekdays are same however we are going to visit during the weekday to definitely check this place out.
Suggestion - you will love the food but if you patient and are ready to overlook the service part.

Went specifically for a nutella dish which doesn’t use nutella. Straight up false advertising. Food was mediocre, though our server was lovely.

Really exciting breakfast menu, and really enjoyed our meal here!
A special shoutout (plus a bit of advice) for the washroom. It was very clean and well-maintained - I also applaud the courage to install a bidet seat! Unfortunately, the nozzle is installed a bit high, so avoid choosing the "woman's clean" option to keep the water from shooting out between your legs and soaking your pants.

The steak & eggs used to be my favorite breakfast. I would order it 1-3 times weekly. Now, the quality has gone down significantly, but the price is up. The steak is flavorless & tough, I ended up throwing it away.
Amazing food with generous portions. The quality is outstanding, and the price is very reasonable. A special thank you to Hassan, who served us so attentively and made our experience even better. Perfect for those looking for a filling and delicious meal!
