The menu prices are premium and the serving sizes not reflected. The menu was hard to understand. I'm sure there was no tequila in my margarita. The ambiance is outstanding and the server was lovely. All and all it was fine but likely would not return.

Had exceptional meal at El Catrin. Waitress was attentive and on her recommendation we chose guacamole, sweetcorn, taquitos papas, fish tacos & braised beef tacos and churros for dessert. All good was exceptional as well as 4 tequila taster.

We had enjoyed our 1st experience at El Catrin 3 years ago when we were last in Toronto and couldn't wait to come back on our trip this past weekend. The food (especially the table side guacamole) and margarita flight was just as great this time around! Our server, Mason was phenomenal! This will definitely be one of our go to spots next time we are in Toronto!

We had the guacamole and that was excellent. The tuna ceviche was also cold and fresh and delicious. The corn was delicious but we were a party of 3 so the server should have asked if we wanted a third corn glass. But still delicious. Fish tacos came out hot and fresh and delicious. The only thing that was not fresh was the churros. But I think they tried to time them to sing happy birthday and they sat for a bit. Overall it was great.

This place has a great atmosphere and very friendly and attentive staff. I've been to and stayed in the heart of Mexico City many times and the food I had tonight was legit authentic! Delicious!!! I'll be back for sure.

Is there anywhere else for guac in Toronto? Mixed right at your table, it's a go-to app and deliciously fresh. We were delayed for our reservation and the restaurant made sure to keep our table. A must visit when you are in the Distillery (especially in summer!!)

I celebrated my birthday there. The deco was artsy and stunning, ambience was cosy and chic, the food was high quality and delicious, the service was professional and warm. My experience was excellent and I will for sure going back!

Food was terrible. Tuna tacos looked like canned tuna. I sent execs from my corporate HQ to this restaurant thinking it would be fun to take them to a touristy area of Toronto vs. staying in the financial district. Terrible mistake. Don't go here.
